CRKT K.I.S.S Two-Timer Knife

CRKT K.I.S.S Two-Timer Knife

Rating for this product: 2 December 11, 2009

Well I thought the knife looked sweet and was a cool idea so I got one. However, I use my single blade KISS way more than this because it is kind of useless. The big blade is too thick to be of any good use. The smaller blade works well and holds an edge, but I found the little blade was the only reason I used it. There are many other lighter and better pocket knives out there to use that have a small blade on them. It's more of a conversation starter for me than anything. The clip also tends to get caught when placing in your pocket. The flat section at the end of the clip doesn't help the functionality of it at all.

Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra GTX Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra GTX Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 November 16, 2009

These are my thoughts after about a year of use.
Good in dry rocky, dusty conditions. Suck for wet rock. Soles wear pretty quickly and are peeling off on my pair. Other than that, they're a good shoe. I haven't been really let down, or really blown away by them.

Katadyn Base Camp Water Filter

November 10, 2008

Has anybody used this in freezing conditions? Does it work for that? I could just imagine water freezing in the tube or filter and having a problem. Anybody know? have any experience with that?

Yup, one on top and one on the bottom. Basically just like the main zipper, but a different size.

KEEN Targhee ll Hiking Shoe - Men's

KEEN Targhee ll Hiking Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 April 18, 2008

Such a comfortable pair of shoes. Great for everyday wear and for day hikes. I was excited to try out the eVent lining, but it hasn't turned out to be any cooler or more breathable then my last pair of shoes with XCR. They are comfortable. Seem a little hunky and big at times. The tongue bunches up a bit when they are tied up. Worked out great in the slush walking to class everyday though. Waterproofness has not been an issue at all.
