The shirt has a nice feel to it. Basic function of a t shirt. I always go between a Medium and a Large depending on the brand. The Large has a nice fit on this one.

Patagonia Footwear Boaris Shoe - Men's

Patagonia Footwear Boaris Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 10, 2009

I love these shoes for casual stuff and just whatever. They look great and are super comfortable. They are comfortable right out of the box which is always nice. I haven't used them for hiking and would recomend something different for anything serious. There are better shoes for hiking. I wear a 10.5 in others and these fit with the 10.5

Someone looking for something small, quick, fast, basic and reliable this would be a great option. It's able to hold a wide variety of pans and does a great job quickly making water boil. It's about the simplest and easiest thing to use. I love it for being small cheap and convienient.

GSI Outdoors Ultralight Telescoping Foon

GSI Outdoors Ultralight Telescoping Foon

Rating for this product: 3 November 18, 2008

It's not the easiest tool to eat with, and flimsy seems to be a good word. The teeth are a problem with strength. I would just spend a little more money and get something that is better and lasts a long time.

Probably the best quality cheeper priced tent

Kelty Grand Mesa 2 Tent 2-Person 3-Season

Kelty Grand Mesa 2 Tent 2-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 5 November 18, 2008

If you are looking for a tent to start out with or you are looking for to save some money but still have quality, I would recomend it. The tent compresses nicely, and sets up easy and in just a few minutes. The part I like was how it kept condensation out. It keeps the warm air in and it's nice and dry in the rain. It stood up to the wind nicely and the durablity hasen't given out yet. I give it five stars for the value of the price.

Great pack

The North Face Crestone 60 Backpack - 3350-3950cu in

The North Face Crestone 60 Backpack - 3350-3950cu in

Rating for this product: 4 November 18, 2008

I was in Montana for about 3 and a half days. The things I love about this pack is that it is big enough to get all your gear inside that you need for that time. Everything you could need and more was in my pack. The water bottles where able to be easily reached on the side pouches. The top has a little storage for maps and something that needs to be reached easily. Side zippers to sneek something out as well as the sleeping bag compartment on the bottom. You are able to get this pack straped down solid. Solid to you and everything in your pack won't move a bit. The parts I didn't like was it is a bit heavy. My shoulders did get sore the first day but after that I was fine. I know the pack has an area where it takes your back off for lumbar suport and breathing as well as holes to breathing. But My back was soaked the whole time. And my parter's pack did a much better job at air flow. All and all it is a great 4 stars for me and for the price recomended.

DAKINE Viper Glove

DAKINE Viper Glove

Rating for this product: 3 November 13, 2008

They arn't the warmest glove ever. My hands to get a bit chilly when wearing themm and the wind goes through them. My thumbs don't have full range of motion either. As far as casual around the city gloves they work great and look good. Thats what I would recomend them for.

Mountain Hardwear Android Softshell Jacket - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Android Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 13, 2008

I use this as a liner inside of my other shells and it works well. It's not to constricting and keeps me warm. Works great on as just a jacket as well. The cuffs on the sleaves are nice and arn't to bulky and anoying to get in the way. If you are stuck on 2 sizes and don't know what size to go for, order the bigger one.

The tenting light

Coleman Exponent CR123A Lithium Pack-Away Lantern

Coleman Exponent CR123A Lithium Pack-Away Lantern

Rating for this product: 5 November 13, 2008

If your looking for a light that is great for a tent, this would be one to consider. It is a bit pricy, but for the minimal space it takes up it might be something to consider. It lights up my 2 person tent with ease, and it is a tough little light. I'm not sure how long I got of the battery life but it seemed to be a little more than 12 hours.

The North Face Cooper's Hill GTX XCR Trail Running Shoe - Men's

The North Face Cooper's Hill GTX XCR Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 13, 2008

These shoes are just a better version of an already great shoe. The added saftey of keeping your feet dry when the weather turns is worth the additional money. I wear a 10.5/11 and the 10.5 was the best choice. Shoes provide instant comfort and stability. The only thing is that I notice the grip is good, but it wears away faster than some other shoes.

The North Face Ultra 104 GTX XCR Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 13, 2008

This is a great shoe. It has a stable wider foot base that is great for any obsticles. The shoes are tough and durable under any conditions. I would recomend these to anyone for a hiking shoe, but as far as trail running they might be great for some, but i would recomend something like coopers hill.

5 Star Quality

The North Face Apex Trekking Pant - Men's

The North Face Apex Trekking Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 13, 2008

The best part about these pants is the mobility you have in them. They arn't that super tight pants that constrict your movements. They have a nice stretch to them that gives you a full range of motion. I use them mainly for hiking and their durablity is nothing less than great. As far as the lengths go, they are just right for me at 5'11" but they can be kept closed at the bottom keeping them off the ground.

Arc'teryx Sidewinder AR Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Sidewinder AR Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 8, 2008

This jacket elminates all the elemnts and obsticles that mother nature can deliver. I trusted the other reviews and ordered a size smaller and it is incredible. I wear it for as long as I can without a liner because it retains your heat quite nicely. The jacket is very versitle but the only thing that bothers me is the zipper by the chin. Getting the zipper away from your chin is worth the inconvience of having the jacket be around your chin when it's not zipped up.

Arc'teryx Stingray Jacket - Men's

September 3, 2008

I am just about 6', and I am only 165 and I went with the medium becuase they run a little big and usually go a size smaller. I hate having the jacket be too short but mine is good and the arms are plenty long. I have full range of motion and they still cover most of my hand. I would go with the xl.

The North Face Terra 60 Backpack - 3700-3850cu in

July 26, 2008

I am 5" 11 and I have about a 30-31 waist. They are pulled about as tight as they can go and work great wearing a t-shirt. So with layers or a shirt you should be good to go.

The North Face Alliance Jacket - Men's

The North Face Alliance Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 19, 2008

For the money, this is a great shell. It holds up to the weather, and gets the job done. It does get a little chilly in the arms when it is colder. A long sleeve shirt took care of that. Great movement all around and durability.

Great Jacket

Burton Cord Fleece Jacket - Men's

Burton Cord Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 6, 2008

I am about 6ft tall and a smaller frame. I bought the medium and it is perfect fit. It is long enough to cover my belt line and isn't to restricting. It does a good job keeping the wind off of you, but on the windiest of days you can feel it leaking in. It is a coat built for thoes not so cold days and not to warm as well. I usually wear it till it's 10-15 degrees then I take out the winter coat. I also used it as a liner under my other jacket and it worked well. Not as well as others liners, but it definetely got the job done. I would recomend this jacket to someone if they asked. I am glad I have mine.
