The best baselayer

Arc'teryx Phase SV Boot Cut Bottom - Men's

I got a pair of the Boot Cut Phase SV's to use as a baselayer for backcountry riding this Fall and Winter, and have used them on about a dozen outings.

I don't think I will ever go back to Capilene. Whatever it is that Arcteryx does in the stitching process makes them feel seamless and adds a 'gloss' to the exterior that may not 'pill' (at least I hope the fabric won't pill, anyway).

I am 6' and 170lbs., and the medium fit quite well. Add a decent sock and liner; the perfect combination.
