Scarpa Hurricane Alpine Touring Boot

They are heavy and clunky compared to mountaineering boots. However, with the lugged soles scrambling around on rock isn't all that bad. Using boot crampons isn't bad, you just need to make sure you get a good fit. And why go anywhere in these boots and snow unless you're skiing?
Really, why go anywhere without skis?

Movement Skis Couloir Ski
March 3, 2010
The weight listed is for one ski. 1.66kg per ski, or about 3.3kg for the pair.
You could always just ski around on one ski if you want to cut weight...

Marker Baron 12 Ski Binding

If you're aggressive then you'll probably want the Dukes. What DIN do you usually run at? If it's above 10 I'd go for the Dukes instead of the Barons.

Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero SL Hooded Down Jacket - Men's
May 6, 2009
I'm 6'3" 200lb and I use a L. I've got long arms and they fit fine. The only issue is sometimes the coat feels a little short, I wish it were 1-inch longer... I frequently layer a softshell underneath, and I find no difficulty layering or not layering with this coat.
