Blizzard Titan Cronus Ski

Blizzard Titan Cronus Ski

Rating for this product: 5 March 23, 2009

These ski's are some of the best I have tried out this year. With a former racing background, I was, at first sight, unsure of them, being a little softer then I generally ski, but from the first run I was impressed. I skied this on several different conditions and terrain types, and nothing seemed to phase them. I found them to be quick responding, aggressively gripping, and incredibly well designed. The only downside of these ski's that I thought stood out was their overly heavy weight, so if your a lightweight fanatic, go look at some touring skis. If you want something that's up for anything, will keep a smile on your face, and not set you back $1300, hit these bad boys up!

Bottom line: Well done Blizzard!

If your looking for power...

Black Diamond Verdict Ski

Black Diamond Verdict Ski

Rating for this product: 5 March 23, 2009

I demo'd these fine beasts at the Canyons Resort in Park City, UT, and was to say the least pretty darn impressed! I love a ski that really lets me through everything I have into it, and these sure do fit that bill. If your typical day on the white stuff included touring up, and high speed, technical assaults down, these are your planks. I would caution any moderate skiers to look at some of the other fine skis in Black Diamonds line, as these are very stiff, unforgiving, and full on power machines. Bottom line: The Verdicts in, ski them as hard as you can.

I have used these things pretty much daily, mostly driving tour coaches in Alaska. I swear life is a bit more pretty with these things on, the lenses are amazing! Construction wise these things feel pretty sturdy, beefy frame, good hinges. Definitely recommended these! I have a medium fit face, and these are perfect!

WOW! Great buy!!

Black Diamond GlideLite Nylon STS Skins

Black Diamond GlideLite Nylon STS Skins

Rating for this product: 5 December 27, 2007

I purchased the Glidelite's for my Volkl Karma's (New Zealand release with stiffening plates) powered by a set of Naxo 02's.

The setup is a huge success, I am able to climb straight up, leaving my friends slipping out behind me. I love these skins.

This was my first time cutting a pair, so I watched the video on BD's website, very informative, step by step instructions(the included instructions left some to the imagination). I did have a little trouble with the cutting tool, it was a bit flimsy, but it worked.

The clip system is great I have not had any problems in the field after about 15 days out on them, in everything from rain soaked slush to fluffy dry powder.

I would recommend you purchase the gob stopper wax with these, it's cheap, it will last a long time, and it will greatly help your forward glide, being one thing these skins lack in ease.

I would not hesitate for a second purchase again.
