i skied these on a lot of different conditions and was really surprised by how well they perfomed. Obviously having them on powder days is awesome. But they performed well everywhere. I have used ski's that were a lot more fun on groomers but groomers certainly aren't the reason i bought these. In the powder they are a BLASTOLA!

Smith Variant Brim Helmet

Rating for this product: 5 September 29, 2009

i bought this helmet to compliment my smith googles more so than the giro omen i had previously. Not only does it fit with my googles perfectly it's overall great. Light, warm, very comfortable and it holds on tight. The vents also allow in an immense amount of air. A +

Teton Gravity Research Sherpa Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's

I don't mean to be blunt... but if you don't have one of these your an idiot. Everything about this hoody makes my loins tingle. The furry inside obviously kicks major buttox, the zipper wisps up no problem; everytime, it fits great, and your supporting a Saweet company. Get one, wear it, live in it, fall in love with it.

Arc'teryx Sidewinder AR Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Sidewinder AR Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 28, 2008

i skied the entire year in this jacket and it performed epically. For starters it is super light (partly due to no insulation). I actually like this because sometimes it is comfortable to ski with a T-shirt under it and other with a down pullover. I am a skinny 6 feet and the medium fits me great. It is absolutely water proof. i used it on the Smith River in 5 days of rain/snow and at the end of the trip i was the only one out of 14 that was still dry. So it is definatly up to any snow storm. The layout of it is also great. the pockets are placed in the right positions and they are big. The side zip is superb! i would like to hug whom ever thought of that. A chaffed chin sucks! i wouldn't exchange this jacket for any other jacket on the market. You get all your moneys worth on this one.

These glasses are SAweet. i have a smaller face and these are great. they are much smaller compared to the Gascans. The rubber ear pieces really helps them stay on. they look great and are practical. I have the black iridium lenses and they do good in sunny conditions, they are pretty dark.

Arc'teryx Sidewinder AR Jacket - Men's

April 2, 2008

the really difference is that the hood on the sv isn't stowable. It also weighs a little less. I had last years SV for a little while and it seemed to be made of a thicker fabric. i returned it because it was too small. Both use goretex pro which is the main reason they are so expensive. i would recommend the AR because of the stowable hood.

DAKINE Heli Pro 20 - 1200cu in

DAKINE Heli Pro 20 - 1200cu in

Rating for this product: 5 April 2, 2008

i use this backpack for school/skiing. I have done a lot of hiking with the skis on the back and it works awesome. They are easy to put in even with gloves on! I use it everyday of the week between school and skiing on on the weekends and it doesn't have a single tear or blemish. they only problem i have found is that it is hard to get a camel pack hose through the shoulder strap and it also freezes out on the hill. Overall it is very comfortable and the right size for holding a days worth of books or ski gear. Not to mention it looks saweeet!

DAKINE Cobra Glove - Men's

DAKINE Cobra Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 April 2, 2008

I have used these gloves for just this season and the there is already a rip on the wrist stap. But other than that these gloves do the job. They aren't as low profile as i thought they would be (actually pretty bulky). But in the end they do their main job of keeping my hands warm great! On the cold cold days i wear laytex surgeon gloves under them and that works like a charm. My hands were on fire when it was dipping below zero! A nice glove at a nice price.

Giro 2008 Omen Helmet

Giro 2008 Omen Helmet

Rating for this product: 5 April 2, 2008

I have used this for two years now and i really like it overall. the vent system has worked really well for me. having two sets of them is awesome. when it is snowing out you can just open the back set and nothing will get in. It is very light and comfortable. Having the sizing mechanism in the back makes it feel just right. My only gripe is the front. The front of the helemet is abnormally high and makes it really had to find goggles that make a good fit with it. I have spy orbits and smith phenoms and they both kind of have the gapper gap going on which sucks. Overall it works great you can hardly tell your wearing it.

Smith Phenom Spherical Series Goggles - Mirror Lens

Smith Phenom Spherical Series Goggles - Mirror Lens

Rating for this product: 5 December 27, 2007

The phenoms rock! i used them hiking and they didn't fog the least bit. The vents work really great and let in a ton of air. I have the Giro Omen helmet and there is no gapper gap to speak of. I've got the sensor mirrors which are great for flat light but don't do much for blocking out direct sun. The best goggle i have every used.

Outdoor Research Fraction Jacket - Men's

Outdoor Research Fraction Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 27, 2007

This jacket rocks my socks off!! I haven't had any really cold weather to try it out in but the 30 degree nights have been nice and toasty when i sport this jacket. It ways nothing. Unlike the patigonia puff jacket this has a hooded which i like very very much and it isn't as bulky. You also don't have to take out a loan to afford it. i give this jacket 5 stars easy.

Spy Orbit Goggles - Mirror Lens

Spy Orbit Goggles - Mirror Lens

Rating for this product: 5 August 31, 2007

I used the Spy Orbits all last year and they worked great the entire year. They didn't fog up once. They fit great and even though they are small they don't block out any of your vision. I have the mirrored rose lens and it worked without flaw from rain in Whistler to blue bird in Big Sky. Well worth the money.
