The zippers seem a bit flimsy, compared to my other tents. Didn't have trouble, but I had to remind my teenage children to be gentle.

You should use a footprint with most tents, especially the ultralights. The footprint for the Copper Spur is well designed and remarkably durable for its light weight.

Good concept, but probably superfluous

MSR Alpine Kitchen Cupboard

This was an impulse buy. I mean, who doesn't want to keep their camp kitchen neat and tidy? Besides, I love MSR.

However, I like to travel light and doubt that I will use this system next time in the wilderness. I didn't need the pasta strainer and the folding spoon broke five days into our trip. The rigid organizer kept everything in one place, but I found it difficult to use with our bear cannister. I'll probably just throw my spices in a stuff sack next time.
