Great mittens
Black Diamond Mercury Mitten - Women's
December 11, 2008
FINALLY, i am warm. At first i thought they were going to be too much mitt for even holding a pole, but not so. i can hold the poles fine. they are super warm and i like the index finger slot inside the mitt. gives you just a little bit more control - the concept works. i bought a medium and they are great. i thought they would be too big based on other reviews, but they are actually perfect. i would say they run about 1 size big. if you have cold hands all the time, get these. you will finally be warm too!

Great trimmer fit fleece jacket
KUHL Erika Fleece Jacket - Women's
December 11, 2008
This is a great trim fitting fleece zip front that goes very well under my ski jacket. i love the thumb holes for pulling the sleeves past the jacket and making things very warm and comfortable. It is a trimmer fit and therefore good for layering. if you want something a little boxier, i suggest the karve diem instead. the sizing is right on, a medium fits like a medium. the charcoal color is more of a black/brown mix - gorgeous.

still my favorite ski
K2 She's Piste Telemark Ski - Women's
November 10, 2008
i have been telemarking for 20 years plus, and this is truly one of my favorite skis. i have skied these for years, and since last year, the schii devil too. but at this price, i couldn't resist picking up another pair of the pistes. i ski very aggressively and on all terrain - steeps, bumps, trees, and lots and lots of powder. they ski effortlessly and handle everything very well. i have no problems with them on the deeper days, and they hold a great edge on the hard pack as well. if you want a ski that is just plain fun ALL the time, this is a great choice. beginner or expert, you will be extremely happy.

What is the inseam length?
Castelli Ergo Due Bibshort - Men's
October 25, 2008
What is the inseam length?
Exactly what i was looking for
KEEN Winthrop Clog - Women's
October 17, 2008
Great, cute clog. Has that great keen look, but slightly more feminine with the stitching. The sizing was right on. My other keens ran small, but these are not. so order your normal size. the top has a little bit of elastic that makes them go on and off very easy and they are super comfortable to walk in. the sole looks like it will be wonderful for the ice and snow and finally get me out of my favorite, yet treacherous, danskos, on those icy mornings. the support seems about average - it could be a little better in the arch if you need that. i will consider putting insoles in these. they look nice with my jeans and i think they will work pretty well with slightly dressier pants as well. the boiled wool lining already feels nice and toasty. bottom line - great shoe and i recommend. if you are looking for a slip on and off easy clog/shoe for winter, (but for me in the mountains will now be for most of the year), i think we might of finally found it. A+

THE most comfortable helmet, period.
Giro Fuse Helmet
October 5, 2008
Incredibly light, and very comfortable. Has an adjustment in the back that makes the helmet fit like a glove, with no pressure points. Go figure - a helmet that actually fits and doesn't slop around. and i have a very small head and have had a terrible time for years and years finding a helmet that really really fits. the adjustment on this one makes that happen. Has great vents that you can open and close easily. The ear flaps are incredibly warm and hug your ears so that the cold won't get in. I paired the helmet with the smith anthem goggles and the fit is seamless. It is a great helmet.
