Mountain Hardwear Typhon Glove

October 26, 2009

How snug should the gloves be? Just got a large pair and they are more snug than I am used to.

Marmot DriClime Catalyst Jacket - Men's

Marmot DriClime Catalyst Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 4, 2009

I replaced my original DriClime jacket with with the Catalyst. I appreciate the stretch panels and zippered hand warmer pockets. This design means it can be used under a shell, great for skiing in the Sierra. The only drawback is the slightly baggy cut around the waist.

Wooly bully

Icebreaker SuperFine190 U Turn Top Long-Sleeve - Men's

Icebreaker SuperFine190 U Turn Top Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 24, 2007

I'm now a convert to wool. Soft from the first wearing. Icebreaker seems to have paid attention to fit and sewing details. No trace of an evil smell despite 4-5 wearings with no washing. Do yourself a favor and convert to wool. Goodbye poly pro.
