Great Feel

Hestra Vertical Cut Freeride Glove

Hestra Vertical Cut Freeride Glove

Rating for this product: 5 January 7, 2008

These gloves feel great out on the slopes, they are warm, dry, and have a very natural fit to them, nice and snug yet allowing mobility. My fingertips were a little cold early on in the day, especially on the lift, but eventually I didn't notice it anymore. The gloves appeared to be getting wet by the end of the day, but my hands stayed dry, so no complaints. Well, I guess they are a little lighter brown than in the picture, but that's not really a big deal, and will vary from glove to glove. Overall, I'm satisfied, definitely worth the money.

I like to wear this over my poly pro when I hit the slopes, it wicks well and keeps me looking good when I take off my jacket in the lodge for a little apres drinking. It's also great for just lounging around in, very comfortable after you wash it a couple times.

Great Performance

The North Face Freedom Pant - Men's

The North Face Freedom Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 7, 2008

These pants keep you warm and dry all day long (with a base layer, naturally), I haven't had an issue with them yet. They seem to be very durable (it's still early in the season, so we'll see) and vent well when you're overheating or go inside. I think they might be a little big for me (these are mediums and I wear 32x30 jeans), but with boots on dragging the bottom cuffs really isn't an issue; I'll take mobility over constriction any day. Also, I might recommend wearing a belt (there are beltloops), as they slide up my midsection in the front when I sit down. Overall, these are minor issues though, the technical performance is stellar.

Like a 2nd Skin

Reef Cellie Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's

Reef Cellie Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 7, 2008

I probably wear this way more than is appropriate, but it really is that comfortable. Looks great (I got mine in brown, but the black looks nice too, even though the stripes are more pronounced) but is low-key - definitely my style. The one issue I have is that the left hand pocket stitching started coming undone like the 2nd time I wore it, but it hasn't progressed any farther, so it shouldn't be a big deal, probably an anomaly. Overall, looks great, feels even better.
