Asolo Stynger GTX Hiking Boot - Women's

Asolo Stynger GTX Hiking Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 May 1, 2009

I love these boots! They are comfortable, stable, lightweight and waterproof! I took them snow shoeing on a back country trip for their first trip out without any leaking or blisters. I even walked through running streams with water up over the laces. They did very well in and out of the snow shoes for traction and stability on some pretty rough terrain. Way to go Asolo!

Metolius Ropemaster Rope Bag

Metolius Ropemaster Rope Bag

Rating for this product: 2 April 6, 2009

This seemingly popular bag is not one that I would recommend. Though the material is sturdy, it is difficult to keep ropes clean while inside. The draw string holder breaks easily, and the biggest draw back is that it's very uncomfortable to carry. The design seems flawed as the bag continuously slides around and the one strap is very uncomfortable. Overall it makes carrying rope cumbersome.
