Burton AK 2L Stagger Pant - Men's

Burton AK 2L Stagger Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 May 7, 2009

I got maybe 20 days out of these before the fabric wore out and the pocket fell off. since that's where the waterproofing is they were dead after that. fabric was pretty worn out in other places too. Not even close to worth the price. I'll give them 3 stars for breathability though, they are nice to hike in, got not daily resort riding.

Smith Prodigy Goggle

Smith Prodigy Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 March 23, 2009

Someone commented about the ease of lens change. Lens change isn't that bad, I've had 4 pairs. Field of vision in these is comparable to EG2s, but with actual effort put into lens technology. (Electric lens' are shite, they fog easy and have a bit of distortion). If you want really easy lens change, spring for the I/O.

Suunto Observer Strap Kit - TT Model

Suunto Observer Strap Kit - TT Model

Rating for this product: 5 March 17, 2009

I changed out this strap in a hotel room with a pair of bent up tweezers. The hardest part was finding the tweezers, the actual process took about 3 minutes, including the cutting. I'm not sure what these other people are talking about. If you can't change this band yourself, you probably shouldn't be in a position to use the watch it attaches to.
Personally, I prefer the deployment clasp because it doesn't hang up on clothing and gear as much. Since it's more complex, I'm not expecting it to be as durable as the standard strap.

These are the cats ass. Under say, 10 deg F, wear a thin liner and you are good. Full leather and wool, you simply can't beat this glove.

Osprey Packs Switch 26 Pack - 1500-1700cu in

Osprey Packs Switch 26 Pack - 1500-1700cu in

Rating for this product: 2 February 27, 2009

I'm normally in love with Osprey packs, they are superlight and functional (the pockets for probe and beacon for example are awesome). the snowboard carry on this needs help though. it's vertical carry only, which by itself isn't an issue. but when you don't pack the snot out of it and stuff a helmet in the helmet pouch, it points the baord into your calfs. you can fix this by strapping the board high on the pack, but then it's top heavy. they need horizontal carry, or the helmet pouch needs to be on the bottom.

Black Diamond Huey Duffel Bag - 6102-9154 cu in

Black Diamond Huey Duffel Bag - 6102-9154 cu in

Rating for this product: 4 January 26, 2009

Nice bag. I'm replacing a gregory Long Haul that I had for about 7 years (leaked at the zipper, otherwise best bag ever). The Huey is about twice the weight, but the flaps over the zippers make it better suited to being in the open bed of a truck.

I filled the Huey with blankets, and took a hose to it. Not a drop got in.

Velcro flap is a little cumbersome, but useful. It doesn't *have* to be closed every time you close the bag, so it isn't a big deal.

Never Summer Premier Snowboard

Never Summer Premier Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 December 27, 2007

I have an '01. I can't seem to kill it, but I want a new one. Most other boards I try seem either slow and chatter-prone, or super fragile. This board doesn't want flowers, it wants it's hair pulled. man up. get one.
