Patagonia MiniMass Bag - 854cu in

Patagonia MiniMass Bag - 854cu in

Rating for this product: 5 August 9, 2010

Have had this bag for a week and I find myself inventing reason to use it. Fits my 12" netbook in neoprene sleeve perfectly and still has room for other essentials. It's narrower than I am so it doesn't get hung up on corners or hit other people while I'm out and about. It holds more than you'd think and will work as an overnight bag or maybe even for minimalist weekend trip. Lives up to Patagonia's quality craftsmanship. Highly recommended.

FYI...Patagonia is redesigning this bag and IMHO the new version looks more like a purse than a messenger bag.

Soft fiber, scratchy construction

Ibex Woolies Zip-Neck Shirt - Men's

Ibex Woolies Zip-Neck Shirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 March 20, 2009

I was really surprised when I got this piece. I love merino and have pieces from most of the other manufacturers. I've heard great things about Ibex but was really disappointed. The merino is soft but the knit of the garmet makes it feel really rough...totally defeating the purpose (and price!) of merino. Super skin-tight fit. It will keep you warm and handle perspiration well, but for my money I'm going for something softer.

SmartWool Microweight Crew Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

SmartWool Microweight Crew Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 March 20, 2009

Very comfortable and I really liked the microweight for higher output activities and warmer days, but it was made for someone much taller and more slender than my 44-short torso.

Icebreaker Solo Superfine140 Shirt - Long Sleeve - Men's

Icebreaker Solo Superfine140 Shirt - Long Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 20, 2009

Icebreaker's 140 weight is my favorite off all the merino out there. This piece is cut a little too loose for a baselayer while camping but is great for around town.
