Excellent night sleep.

ALPS Mountaineering Comfort Series Air Pad

ALPS Mountaineering Comfort Series Air Pad

Rating for this product: 5 September 30, 2010

Wow. Very comfortable sleeping pad. Don't plan on carrying this one on the trail, unless it is the only thing you are bringing. I used mine the first time, and have not rolled it back up. It is hard to get back in the bag. If your tent is not as long as this pad, don't plan on folding the edge over on the end because it is pretty stiff. I usually wake up all the time while camping, not on this pad. Zzzzzzz.

Awesome and Made In USA!

Oakley Canteen Sunglasses

Oakley Canteen Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 5 August 18, 2010

I have had many pairs of Oakley sunglasses and these are my current favorite. I got the polished white w/gray lens. They are lightweight and very comfortable. Even comfortable when you put them up on your head when inside, no headache. I also have some Oakley Gascans in black and they are a little big for my face. These are a little less square and fit closer to your face. The lens is great in Colorado, both with the snow and sun.

Did I mention they are Made in USA? Hard to find much made here anymore...

I bought from Steep and Cheap (or was it Brociety?) they shipped super fast and I got a great deal. I can always order worry free because they will take stuff back. Great customer service.

Just right amount of baggy.

Burton 2L GTX Shelter Pant - Men's - 09/10

Burton 2L GTX Shelter Pant - Men's - 09/10

Rating for this product: 5 August 18, 2010

I bought the 2009 version in True Black. They are actually black. I like my snowboard pants baggy but not so saggy that I can't walk right. I am 5'10" and 160# and I got the large ones. They fit over my knee brace. Very waterproof on wet spring chairlifts. They have the snap straps that keep them from dragging across the parking lot, sweet feature. There is only one cargo pocket, so they could use one on the other side, that's the only thing I would change.

Backcountry outlet has the best service, I buy a lot of my gear there (and Steep and Cheap)...very good customer service.

Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra Trail Running Shoe - Women's

Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra Trail Running Shoe - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 February 27, 2010

Love these shoes. I run on dirt roads and they hold up very well. I am a mild pronator and they work well. The lacing system is great, very fast and they don't slip. I have tried to use my Nike+ with them with the velcro case on the laces and I think it slips around too much so doesn't give a good reading. These are great for light hiking, too. I wear them everywhere.

To Backcountry: I had to buy these at a different store because you don't carry size 10.5. Could you please consider carrying my size...are my feet really that big?

Softest Fleece Ever!!!!!!!

Mountain Hardwear Monkey Woman Jacket - Women's

Mountain Hardwear Monkey Woman Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 May 9, 2009

I have many fleece jackets and this one is the best. It is VERY warm, and I am usually cold but not in this one. The real reason I bought it was that it actually fit me. Most women's clothing doesn't fit me because I have monkey arms :) I am 5'10" with a long torso and this fleece is long enough in the arms and body. I washed mine and hung to dry and no problems with matting. Got the green grasshopper one and it rocks. Buy one even though you don't need another fleece.....
