Black Diamond Fritschi Diamir Freeride Plus Binding

June 6, 2009

Ski crampons cannot be used for steeper slopes and skins work well on stuff that can get pretty steep. If it gets steep enough where you cant use skins. put crampons on your boots and skis on your pack

The problem with the ski crampons for these bindings is that they attatch on the binding so that when you have the heel lifter up the crampon wont even bite. so they wont do any good on steep slopes..just icy travels

Great Jacket

Patagonia Lined Canvas Full-Zip Hooded Jacket - Men's

Patagonia Lined Canvas Full-Zip Hooded Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 8, 2008

My favorite jacket I own. Patagonia finally has a cut that fits me. I'm 6' 5'' 210 and XL fits perfect. Has a longer back like a tennis cut which I love and the sleeves are long which is also a bonus for me. Just as warm as my micropuff but very very durable.

Oakley Crash Jacket - Men's

Oakley Crash Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 8, 2008

i'm not sure of the waterproofing but it holds up well in the wet NW snow. chest vents dont do a whole lot but zipping down the jacket the old fashion way works just fine. sizing does run a little large but being 6' 4'' the xl is nice and roomy. if you dont like a roomy feel go a size down

Black Diamond GlideLite Nylon Kicker Skins

Black Diamond GlideLite Nylon Kicker Skins

Rating for this product: 4 June 10, 2008

i've had for about a little over a year. they work nicely on gentle slopes. i like them because i can find a bowl, put my pack down, and make laps without a pack on (they fit in my coat pocket). but for longer tours or steep and variable snow they don't work very well.
