The North Face Ice Down Jacket - Men's

December 8, 2008

I too have the same measurements as you so I can help here. I have several North Face coats both in XL (2 Apex Bionic, SDS 1/4 Zip fleece)and XXL (Pumori, Denali, Windwall) but feel the XL fit best. If you don't plan on wearing many layers such as a sweater underneath, I would go with the XL. The sleeve length will be fine as I also wear 36/37 sleeve. I wear a 46 suit jacket also so the XL fits perfect here. The XXL will feel big in the waist area otherwise. If you do plan to wear a thick underlayer at times then you should go with the XXL though. I hope this helps!

Teva Sunkosi 2 Shoe - Men's

July 29, 2008

I wear a size 13 with North Face and Columbia footwear. Since I won't be wearing socks with these, should I order a size 12 instead?

Excellent lightweight and windproof fleece

The North Face WindWall 1 Jacket - Men's

The North Face WindWall 1 Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 29, 2008

This jacket is perfect for moderately cold but windy days. The material is a more "rigid" fleece material yet very soft to the touch. The mesh material on the inside is not as comfortable but it is definitely not an issue compared to the other benefits. For size comparison, I am 6' 3'', 220 lbs. 48L jacket size and I bought the XXL. The waistline is a bit roomier than I would like but if you are of a similar size, you will need the extra room in the chest and shoulder area and also with the sleeve length.

Excellent overall, lightweight rain jacket.

The North Face Resolve Jacket - Men's

The North Face Resolve Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 15, 2007

I normally wear an XXL ( 6'3", 230 lbs.)in The North Face jackets due to the sleeve length and shoulder/chest room but this seems a little big in the neck area. I do like how the hood can be concealed in the collar but it is rather bulky. I also own two North Face Glacier 100 TKA fleece jackets which layer rather well with the Resolve. If you get hot very easily you may want to opt for a jacket with better venting. Overall, I would recommend this jacket though due to its style, comfort, usefulness (waterproof yet lightweight).

Perfect for early spring and fall weather

The North Face TKA 100 Glacier 1/4 Zip Fleece Pullover - Men's

The North Face TKA 100 Glacier 1/4 Zip Fleece Pullover - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 14, 2007

I have bought two Glacier fleece jackets and love them both. The lightweight 100 TKA fleece material is perfect for a moderately cool day. The jacket fits snugly so it is perfect when worn alone or as a bottom layer for cooler days. I layer the Glacier with a TNF Resolve jacket on cool, rainy days and with my Pumori fleece on colder days.

For size comparison, I am 6'3", 230 lbs. so I bought the XL which is snug but not too tight.

Excellent all-around fleece

The North Face Pumori Fleece Jacket - Men's

The North Face Pumori Fleece Jacket - Men's

Excellent mid-weight fleece. Great for cool fall/winter days. I do wish the inside of the collar was the same color as the rest of the jacket though.
