Forget the stuff sack

Marmot Helium EQ Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Down

Rating for this product: 4 October 3, 2009

but otherwise it's absolutely wonderful. I got this bag because I was taking a trip to Australia. In a swag in the middle of the outback in the Australia fall I had to unzip this bag all the way because it was so warm, same situation on a sheep farm with night temps in the 30s. I keep it in an event small stuff sack when traveling and in the provided laundry looking bag while at home.

Go to jacket

Arc'teryx Gamma LT Pullover Softshell Jacket- Men's

Rating for this product: 4 October 3, 2009

this is my go to jacket for everyday. I wear it to class, work, grocery store, absolutely everywhere from fall to spring. It looks good and keeps wind off, match it with a marmot power stretch base or arcteryx covert cardigan and you're good through the southeast's mild winters.

Never leave home without it.

Snow Peak GigaPower Stove Manual Ignition

Snow Peak GigaPower Stove Manual Ignition

Rating for this product: 5 October 3, 2009

I absolutely love this stove. It's light and it's small and it's not expensive. Unless you're an ultralight ounce counter then you probably don't care whether it's super light titanium or not so the steel is fine with me. My friends carry jet boils and never understood why I liked my stove so much until I was boiling water in the same amount of time (or less) and then could just toss it back in the pack without it taking up 8 by 6 inches. It truly is one of the best out there.

Gerber Rivermate Knife

February 27, 2009

How rust resistant is this knife seeing as it's only steel and not aus-8 or something? It's a river knife so I would assume it would do well in water but I'm not sure.

wonderul solo set

Snow Peak Titanium Cookware - 3pcs

Snow Peak Titanium Cookware - 3pcs

Rating for this product: 4 October 29, 2008

The set is very lightweight, super durable, and wipes clean with a little warm water. The only complaint I've had is I have to scramble one egg at a time on the small frying pan so if you're wanting to do more than that maybe invest in a separate frying pan but the two pots are wonderful for everything.
