This is what is being used by many mountaineers for tents on Denali expeditions. That says a lot about this product.

The North Face Venture Jacket - Women's

August 18, 2008

I had this jacket in size SMALL and just bought a Patagonia Rain Shadow Jacket recently in size EXTRA SMALL. I'm 5'4" short (or tall), 120 lbs heavy, and measures 33 on the chest. The Patagonia Rain Shadow fits my body better since I'm on the high range of Patagonia EXTRA SMALL. My size SMALL North Face Venture Jacket was a little big on my body since I'm on the low range of the sizing. With the Patagonia Rain Shadow even at EXTRA SMALL when I wear under it a long sleeve baselayer and a fleece jacket it still is comfortable. With my SMALL TNF Venture, with a baselayer and a fleece under it still is a little too big. Fabric wise, I like TNF Venture Jacket just by 1 point better than the Patagonia Rain Shadow because it seems softer and less stiff and eventhough they're equally weigh the same THF Venture Jacket "SEEMS" to me to be slightly lighter.

GoLite Paradox Pant - Women's

GoLite Paradox Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 August 18, 2008

I'm 5'4" tall and 120 lbs heavy so I had to return the pants because it's a bit too long for me. I would have kept it though if it was the right lenght.
