  • Bio:

I live in Denver, CO. I am an avid snowboarder. I personally own 8 board/binding combinations for basically any weather condition or riding style. In addition I collect vintage snowboards (still looking for a Kemper Screamer and a reasonably priced Winterstick). I also enjoy running (but really with very little desire for more than around a 10k range). I ride a Cannondale Bad Boy to and from the office when the weather is good and I do a lot of downhill mountain biking during the summer. I am purchasing a cross country style bike for the 2009 season because I want to get some conditioning on upill climbs.

Oakley Fives 3.0 Sunglasses - Ducati Collection

October 18, 2008

So aside from the red "O" is there anything special about these sunglasses? I have another set of Oakley Fives 2.0 and I love them for sports use. I am also a big Ducati fan and I love the other crossover projects that Ducati has done with other vendors (I own a Burton Ducati snowboard that I really love). I do not however see any difference with this item with the exception of the red "O" which I could easily paint on myself if I really wanted to (but won't). The lenses are not even polarized which I do not like considering the fact that I can get the polarized fives for $100 or less. So does anyone own these? Is there something special about them or should I just but the polarized Fives 3.0 instead?
