Great pant if you don't use for skiing/snowboarding

Arc'teryx Stingray Pant - Men's

Arc'teryx Stingray Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 1 December 29, 2008

These pants fit like they were taylor made. Soft fabric. Simple design. COMFORTABLE!!! Why one star? And I'm so bummed to have to return them, but whoever designed these "ski" pants never put on a ski/snowboard boot. The internal powder cuff ( gator) is only about 3 inches long and attached at the very bottom of the inside leg. Meaning, you cannot put these inside your boot (between boot liner and shell)to keep out snow. If you put this little gator inside your boot, the outer pant will not go over your boot. You can only put the internal gator on the outside of your boot and the soft lining on the inside of the pant is like the female side of velcro, so it grabs any remaining velcro from your power/booster strap. If you want these pants for walking around, perhaps cross country skiing )low boot) in VERY cold weather( there is no ventilation in these pants) they will work great. But if you ski the pow, your going to get a boot full of snow. Bummer

Ripps!!!!

Scott P3 Alpine Ski

Scott P3 Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 January 4, 2008

Went from Salomon Pocket Rockets to these and wow what a difference. Because of the construction, they are WAY stiffer and really rock out. Handles speed great, switch and are super durable. Not the widest for super pow, but thats not what's on their plate. What I cant figure is what base they are using because they are SUPER fast. I absolutely love em!
