Patagonia Beeline Backpack - 1220cu in

January 30, 2010

You are correct, there are two 'front' compartments, the second one just being slightly smaller. The 'top' compartment is very small, and lies just behind the main front compartment. And each front compartment has it's own internal mesh compartment. Hope this helps.

Best Lightweight Socks

Darn Tough Merino Wool No-Show Mesh Running Sock - Men's

Darn Tough Merino Wool No-Show Mesh Running Sock - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 18, 2009

Darn Tough certainly does make darn tough socks-these lightweight socks are amazingly resilient for how thin they are. And of course, the ventilation is great; my feet sweat A LOT, and yet these keep them cool all day. If you're a fanatic about breathability and durability, these socks are perfect.

Great wicking properties

Patagonia Capilene 3 Zip-Neck - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Patagonia Capilene 3 Zip-Neck - Long-Sleeve - Men's

This shirt is perfect for running on a cool day or just for lounging around the house. I never get hot since it regulates body temperature really well and wicks away whatever perspiration that may occur. It is so light that you barely feel you are wearing it too. For those who think that this shirt stinks after wearing a few times, let the shirt sit around for a few days. I have worn it on several runs, sitting around the house and still haven't washed it and it still smells like a shirt that hasn't been worn. If you're really picky like me about washing your clothes as rarely/little as possible, leave this shirt out for a day or two in a clean place and the odor will be gone. After all, what's the point of the gladiodor control if it isn't utilized?

SmartWool NTS Midweight 1/4-Zip Top - Men's

December 11, 2009

Yea they mention it on their tags. I already have this piece in M, I'm your typical 5'9 155 lb guy with slightly wider chest. It fits great, I just worry about washing it the first time, since the clothes that usually run small on me are due to the chest/shoulder region.

SmartWool NTS Midweight 1/4-Zip Top - Men's

December 9, 2009

Does this shrink laterally at all? I know smartwool designed it so the sleeves are slightly longer to compensate for shrinking, but does it shrink sideways as well? Thanks.

Great ventilation

Sugoi RSR Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Sugoi RSR Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 28, 2009

This shirt definitely wicks away moisture really well and fits great/true to size. The shirt itself is pretty thin but is well constructed. The only gripe I have with this shirts (although I find this to be the case in other shirts as well) is that the neck opening is not very stretchy, so if you have a larger head, it'll be more of a task to get the shirt off without tugging on the shirt too much.

Maui Jim Ho'okipa Sunglasses - Polarized

August 24, 2009

Do these fit larger or smaller faces better? I have an asian style fit and am looking for glasses that are more taylored to that size, like the Oakley asian fit line. Are the nose pads more narrow or wide?
