I love this shoe. It fits just right and is a perfect day hiker. The best part about this shoe is its breathability. If you don't mind not having Gore-Tex, which I don't, this is such a great summer hiking shoe. Also the contragrip sole is incredible. I will be willing to bet I wear the top of the shoe out before the sole even has a dent in it. Nice rocker in the toe as well for those uphill battles.

Marmot PreCip Jacket - Men's

Marmot PreCip Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 30, 2003

Used this jacket at the Telluride bluegrass festival. The first day of the festival it rained all day and I stayed nice and dry in my Precip. It fits pretty true to size. I'm 5’8” 140 and a medium fits perfect. Packs up pretty small as well. This is going to be my staple rain jacket for the rest of the year for sure. Maybe an emergency jacket for sunny ski tours.

Oakley Monster Dog Sunglasses

Oakley Monster Dog Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 5 June 13, 2003

These are by far the biggest full frame sunglasses Oakley has, and they're pretty dang comfy if you have a big old head. I think these are going to be my new glasses for skiing. They cover every bit of my eye and for that matter half of my face. They are lightweight though and don't put that pressure on the top of my ears you would expect from a pair of sunglasses this big.

These glasses are the epitome of pimpin. They are so funky your grandma can wear them the day after you do. I'd have to say they are the perfect hide out.

The North Face Tadpole 23 Tent 2-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 5 June 2, 2003

Six footers need not apply. That's what the tent should be called. But I'm a wee little fellow so I enjoy this bad boy immensely. It also fits my wee little girlfriend in there quite nicely. Truth be told this tent is great if you’re looking for something lightweight, freestanding, and low profile. And it held up in a southern Utah wind storm very well.

Well these are very stylish glasses and they cover the perfect amount of optical area without hitting my lashes, but they are so tight they squeeze my brains out. Smith says you can adjust them and I've tried, but I think it's just going to take wearing them a ton.

golf pants

Rating for this product: 4 May 29, 2003

Well I'm not really a climber, but I scored two pairs of these pants from a guy who bought them a little small. I love them. They are so lightweight and comfy. I tell you I have had them for two weeks now and worn them at least 10 days. Truthfully I've been playing golf in them but I plan to use them for camping as well. My favorite part is the buttons on the calves which allow you to make clam diggers out of them. Great pants.
