This is my second pair of the cross terrains. The pair I had before was a few years older and not quite so beefy. This pair is incredible. Put a three pin cable binding on it, get a pair of plastic tele boots and go wherever you want. FUN.

Rossignol BC X3 Backcountry Boot

Rossignol BC X3 Backcountry Boot

Rating for this product: 3 November 21, 2008

These boots are awesome, except they run small and gave me wicked blisters. Thought I would get used to them, but the heel slip never faded. Although they were the size I normally wear, they felt at least a half size smaller. I didn't find them to be very warm either.

Great boots!

Alpina BC 1550 Backcountry Boot DO NOT USE

Alpina BC 1550 Backcountry Boot DO NOT USE

Rating for this product: 5 November 21, 2008

These boots are great. They seem to run a little big, I usually wear a 42 but probably should have gotten a 41. I also have a wide foot and they aren't tight at all. Feel heavier than others although slightly less rigid in the ankle. The tongue padding also feels a little cheap. Having said all of that, they are very comfortable and warm and I am happy with my purchase.

Highgear Aerial Altimeter Watch

Highgear Aerial Altimeter Watch

Then this is the watch for you! You have to calibrate the altimeter often for an accurate reading, but given how the thing works that's kind of a given. It's pretty easy to figure out and use. Very happy with my purchase.
