I just received this backpack and am definitely returning it as I am very disappointed. I am actually annoyed that I will be returning this because I had so many hopes for it as I purchased it to upgrade from my Eagle Creek travel pack.

Let me begin by saying that aesthetically it is a beautiful design for a bag, and everything looks clean and compact. The problem with it is completely in the CAPACITY. It makes me laugh that this bag is supposed to be a "Travel Trekker Pro".

The features that make this bag a "travel pro" is that it contains pretty much all the features avid travelers desire in a backpack (i.e. zip in straps, rain cover, shoulder strap, hidden pockets galore, detachable day pack, etc etc.). HOWEVER, after all the pockets, zips, flaps, and straps, there is no room for actual clothes. You can probably fit two pairs of jeans, 5 shirts, and a very light jacket. After that you are done. Clearly this is not designed for a travelling woman!!!
I am absolutely shocked as to just HOW LITTLE capacity this bag actually has. When I travel, it is usually for 4-8 weeks, and I need a bag that can HOLD EVERYTHING. There is NO WAY you can use this for a backpacking trip, especially to regions with varying climates where you need all sorts of layers and gear. As an avid travelling woman, I bring a lot of “crap” that is really essential to a comfortable trip, so yes, I need a decent amount of space.
There is not even a place to separate clothes from a sleeping bag or a shoe storage compartment (though there is a shoe pocket—for sneakers). There is NO WAY to put more than a pair of shoes and a few articles of clothes, forget where to even put toiletries and accessories (I guess you can put them in the day pack).
Bottom line, this may be good for a weekend trip but that is it. Do not plan a backpacking trip through Europe or South America and expect that this bag will be useful to you (unless you are an absolute minimalist). I am going abroad for a little over a week soon and I cannot even fit a week’s worth of clothes (not even including the couple of pairs of shoes I need for various activities). So this bag is definitely more flair than function.
