I have a MontBell Down Jacket in Large and it has a slim fit. This vest is much more roomy. I returned and may try a medium. Good quality and lightweight just like the jacket, though.

Nice jacket and super light weight. However, the fit was a bit larger than expected so I'm returning. I already own the MB Extremely Light Down Jacket which is pretty form fitting in a large--this was a little more (too) roomy for me in the torso.

At 69gm/m, this rope is heavier than most other ropes of this diameter but not many 10.2's come with a 12-fall rating. It has a good hand seems durable--after a couple of months of moderate use, it isn't showing any signs of wear. The Perdur coating works as described. I'd give it five stars if it came in bi-pattern or at least came with the middle already marked.

Outstanding jacket and good value. It weighs (and packs to) almost nothing and kept me warm on a trip to the Alps with temps in the 20's. Pair this with a lightweight waterproof shell and you probably won't need anything else for most endeavors.

I paired this belay device with a BD Vapor Lock Biner. After about 3 months of weekend use, it had made indents on the biner that appeared to be more than cosmetic. I tried with another type locking biner but got same result. Functions as advertised but the stainless steel seems to damage aluminum carabiners.

Excellent caribiner--full-sized, strong and super light. The hooded nose is an added bonus--the nose is slightly wider than a non-wiregate keylock (like Petzl Spirit) but you still get similar no-snag performance. When you're carrying 10-12 Draws, the weight savings with these is significant without any trade-offs in performance.

Because this jacket is so light and packs down, its a no-brainer to carry it along on outdoor excursions even if you are trying to go minimalist. I recently took it on trip to German Alps--over the course of two weeks, it kept me dry during several passing rain showers while mtn biking and hiking. It does the job, and most importantly it was there when I needed it.

I now have several wool shirts from different brands--wool lives up to the hype for warmth and odor resistance. This shirt is the warmest and most comfortable of the lot and looks pretty good too. Sizing runs big; I normally wear large but went with a medium here.

I bought my first BodyFit260 about a year ago and it quickly became the most worn shirt in my closet. I have since bought other Icebreaker clothing and have yet to be disappointed. The rave about wool is on the mark; it keeps its shape and doesn't stink even with days of consecutive wear.
