Yakima Mako Aero Saddles

June 17, 2008

Does ordering 1 set come with all 4 saddles or just a pair? Some places are selling them as a pair but this picture makes it look like you get all 4. Does anyone know?

Great bag, a bit small for the price

Pacific Outdoor Equipment Hull Bag

Pacific Outdoor Equipment Hull Bag

Rating for this product: 4 August 3, 2007

The quality of this bag is top notch, down to the zipper pull. I was a little deceived at the size when I received it in the mail. I guess I was just expecting it to be bigger because the price was so much higher than some of the other dry bags. It fits about the same as a 20L SealLine dry bag. The shape is nice to fit into the hull of your kayak though. I haven't tested the full water proofing of it, but it has certainly kept things dry and the quality of the material is really good.

Great compass

Suunto Orca Mulitpurpose Compass

Suunto Orca Mulitpurpose Compass

Rating for this product: 5 August 3, 2007

The visibility of this compass, even from a foot away is really good. It hooks nicely onto the kayak straps. The only problem is there's a hazy line around the bottom of the glass and if the compass is at the wrong angle, you can't read the numbers. It's a bit pricey, but the quality is there. Solid materials.

These bags are great!!

Harmony PDA Dry Flex Case

Harmony PDA Dry Flex Case

Rating for this product: 5 August 3, 2007

I bought 2 more of these to add to one that we already have. They are great for storing your camera (for easy access) and any cell phone. I bought extras so we can put our walkie-talkies in them (we learned the hard way that they aren't water-proof). The walkie-talkies work right through the bag so you don't ever have to take them out. I opted not to buy the special walkie-talkie bag because I didn't think I'd ever use headphones and a microphone w/the bag so there was no point. This was perfect. Make sure your walkie-talkies fit though. If that antennae is too tall, you might not be able to close the bag. We have 12-mile walkies and they just fit. I love these bags, especially for the price. I've seen other bags similar to these, but the quality doesn't look as good. Definitely pay the extra few dollars for the Harmony bags.

These are great!

SealLine Kodiak Window Dry Bag

SealLine Kodiak Window Dry Bag

Rating for this product: 5 August 3, 2007

So after not knowing which size to buy, I finally opted for the 20L and it was much larger than I was expecting. Plenty of room for clothes, towel, food, whatever you would need for a day or maybe even a light over night packing. You won't fit a sleeping bag in there, but clothes and other personal items would fit no problem. I also have a 10L bag which is great for smaller items, food, or a few clothes. I haven't tried to stuff it, but it's great for a day trip. I haven't submerged these under water, but they have gotten wet on the outside and everything inside remained completely dry. I like having the see-thru window too. It's foggy, but easy enough to see what's in there. Great bag for the price.. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more of these.
