Fun Toy

Snow Peak GigaPower Lantern, Auto Ignition

Snow Peak GigaPower Lantern, Auto Ignition

Rating for this product: 4 March 17, 2009

This is a full little toy to have and is bright. I like to store mine in my Snow Peak 450 ti cup. It should however come with a little chain or some way to hang it up. I use a steal fishing leader which has worked nice. Also an extra mantle would be nice for the price. At times it is hard to light and you are better off lighting it with a match than the auto ignition. Also it DOES NOT like cold starts. You have to light it and lightly blow onto the mantle kind of like starting a fire.

Great Family Tent

Kelty Pavilion 4 Tent 4-Person 3-Season

Kelty Pavilion 4 Tent 4-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 4 August 13, 2008

I have owned my Pavilion 4 for a couple years. It has been through plenty of thunderstorms without a leak. It also held up to 40+ mph winds. It is a little awkward to setup at first but once you get familiar with the setup it becomes a breeze. It's a big tent; it will take time to setup. The vestibule is great. If it is raining or too buggy we can sit in it and hang out. My only complaint is the front door screen. It could have been designed better. I recommended this tent to a friend and they enjoyed is also.

Great tent but not a 4 man

Kelty Quartz 4 Tent 4-Person 4-Season

Kelty Quartz 4 Tent 4-Person 4-Season

Rating for this product: 4 August 13, 2008

I've owned this tent for a few years. It's not a 4 person tent. I would recommend this for 3 with gear in the vestibule or 2 with gear in the tent. You might be able to fit a 4th person if they are less than 4ft tall. The sleeved pole design can become frustrating at times. Otherwise this tent is bomb proof. It never leaked even with a river of water streaming under the tent. The vestibules size is very generous.
