Almost perfect

Chaco ZX/1 Unaweep Sandal - Women's

Chaco ZX/1 Unaweep Sandal - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 June 18, 2009

I've been wearing Chacos for years and absolutely love them. The arch support in the foot-bed is great for my flat feet, and they're comfortable to walk around in all day. The only problem I've had with this pair is that the straps aren't staying adjusted - they loosen somewhat as I walk, and I just keep adjusting them. This is my first pair of Unaweeps without the toe-loop, and I wonder if the one fewer strap means that there's less friction and thus less of a hold.

This is my second pair with double-straps and I've not found them to be much different functionally than the single-strap, but I think they're prettier. Also, I've learned from enough pairs of Chacos (each worn into the ground) that it's better to adjust them to slightly looser than I might first expect - they still hold my feet well - and I have only gotten hot spots (not quite blisters) when I made them too tight.

Essentially perfect

Osprey Packs Astro Bag - 1100 cu in

Osprey Packs Astro Bag - 1100 cu in

Rating for this product: 5 January 7, 2009

This is the most wonderful messenger bag I've ever used, and I'm really glad that I finally upgraded from the funky-but-inefficient canvas bags I've been living out of for ages. I use it daily, and also when I travel, and I love its functionality, durability, myriad pockets, and color. (Mine is Redwood, which is a little orange-y, and gorgeous.) The shoulder strap *is* long, but completely adjustable, and hasn't gotten in the way for me at all. I twice dropped it with my laptop in it, and the laptop is still fine. The only flaw I've found is that the waist strap (which I use on occasion) is thin, and would benefit from a either a bit of padding or just width around the hips.

Fabulous.

Patagonia Active Mesh Bra - Women's

Patagonia Active Mesh Bra - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 June 4, 2007

It is so comfortable, and puts much less pressure on my shoulders (/trapezius) than any other sports bra, but is still supportive, at least for A/B women. It also looks good alone, as a sports top. I have 2 so far, and I wear them for yoga, frisbee, biking, tennis... I may need to get more so that I can do laundry less.
