Nixon The Rover Watch

Nixon The Rover Watch

Rating for this product: 3 March 11, 2008

I am a self professed watch freak. Meaning I currently own about 30 timepieces. Now this addition is a "good" sports watch. It's a heavy case and the bracelet is beefy but comfortable. The link adjustments are OK and it comes with two extras. I took one off but had to put it back on 'cause it was too tight then adjust the clasp for the proper fit.
In the dark, the back light is good, but you cannot see the numerals with it so you use the clock face dark spots.

This is a very serviceable watch, should last quite a while and looks like it will take a beating and still perform. I own better looking and higher quality watches but for the backcountry this will suffice just fine.

Mountain Hardwear Wicked Tech T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Wicked Tech T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 5, 2007

Ok, so I live and hike in florida and during June and July it is Hot and Humid.

So I bought this shirt thinking it would be a good thing for the heat and humidity. It really was!!

It wicks and dries quickly, is extremeley comfortable to wear and looks good too.

It does snag easily but that is a small thing compared to the way it performs.

A must have shirt for the heat!!

Petzl Tactikka Plus Headlamp

Petzl Tactikka Plus Headlamp

Rating for this product: 5 July 5, 2007

so I bought this for the trail and hunting, so far I have used this thing more at home than outdoors. Things like working on an electrical outlet in a dark room, looking for a cat at night outdoors, walking the dog at night. It is just a handy tool!! I cant wait to try it in the woods, but so far I have gotten my moneys worth!! A best buy item.

Hiking in the muggy morning at 80 degrees with 78 percent humidity. These shorts do the trick!! Breathe and wick great, and very lightweight.

Great Gear!

Snow Peak Titanium Silverware Set

Snow Peak Titanium Silverware Set

Rating for this product: 5 May 21, 2007

Bought these because I was tired of having to use a plastic spoon/fork in the field. This beats plastic hands down, very light and compact.
The knife could be sharper but the spoon and fork are good tools!

Recommend this product for field lunch and supper.
