  • Stomping Grounds:

    Boulder, CO
  • Bio:

I was born April 16th 1984 in Rochester, NY. I grew up skiing at Bristol Mountain in upstate New York. Skiing has been my life, the one sport I've stuck with throughout everything. Skiing is an escape, an instant high for me and I will never stop skiing as long as I can.

I enlisted in the Navy when I was 19 and got stationed in Everett, WA. I love the PacNW and Mt. Baker is definitely my favorite mountain to ski. When I got out of the Navy I enrolled at The University of Colorado in Boulder, CO where I ski more than I ever have in my life.

Since I moved to Colorado, I picked up the sport of mountain biking, which is my escape during the summer months. I still only have a POS hardtail, but I rock it on downhill regardless.

V.I.O. POV.1 Camera Package

October 3, 2009

Kryptonite is listed as one of the materials this camera is made out of. My best friend is superman... does this mean I won't be able to hang out with him anymore?

Wow

The North Face Chronicle Down Jacket - Men's

The North Face Chronicle Down Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 29, 2008

This jacket is so diesel. It proved very useful with this recent cold snap here in Colorado. Negative temps and wind chills of -30 did not phase me a bit with this on. It's incredibly comfortable and it has more pockets than a billiard club... seriously I don't have enough stuff to put in them. The front pockets are roomy enough for my Canon G9 and so accessible. Hiking in this jacket will get you warm really quick, but the pit zips help and if it gets too hot in there I just throw it on my pack and go to work. In my 20+ years of skiing, this is by far my favorite jacket I've ever owned.

Wheels suck

Swix Rolling Gear Bag

Swix Rolling Gear Bag

Rating for this product: 3 December 29, 2008

Just like said above... the wheels are placed in the center and the bag tips over all the f-ing time. It's such a pain and very annoying. However, you can fit a ton of stuff in this thing... and I still like it.

Would it be a good idea to mount Dukes on these for skinning? And should I go for some AT boots or is it not a big deal having Dukes+Alpine boots

DAKINE Session Hydration Bike Pack - 400cu in

Rating for this product: 4 August 19, 2008

Would give 5 stars except for the size. I thought you could fit a helmet inside of it, but there's no way thats happening. I love it though, it works great for what I use it for.

I got this for my girlfriend in periwinkle plaid and everywhere she goes people compliment her on how cool this jacket looks. Not only is it good looking, but it keeps her warm, so the functionality is awesome.

The North Face Thresher Hydration Pack - 250cu in

The North Face Thresher Hydration Pack - 250cu in

Rating for this product: 2 August 7, 2008

I was satisfied with this pack until I realized you can't fit much more in the pocket besides a wallet and a cell phone. I could've dealt with that but then the bladder nozzle started leaking for no apparent reason so I had to send it back.
