Suunto Vector Altimeter Watch

Suunto Vector Altimeter Watch

Rating for this product: 5 March 17, 2010

I got this watch in 2000 as a birthday present and have recently had it overhauled. Despite the overhaul (basically a new watch) I am very happy. I have abused it for 10 years without a second thought and was quite happy to pay to have it reconditioned.
The main thing that saved my watch face was covering it with plastic wrap, shaped to fit. Scratch free after 5 years...The light stopped working after about 6 years and the altimeter stopped after 10 years.

I sent it back and had it assessed and fixed within 10 days. New face, new bezel, new upper case, new circuitry... still the same watch, right?
