These are described by Kaenon as WOMEN'S glasses. I liked these above all the other women's "retro/big" Kaenons because they have the non-slip pads so they won't slide down your nose when you sweat. They are also they only women's "sport" glasses (thus the nose pads) whereas all the others are "fashion." It just so happens that they felt the most comfortable of any pair I tried on, women's or unisex. The Kaenons all feel dramatically different on your head; I recommend you try several pair and send back what you don't want!

I don't climb, but thought this type of jacket would be good for walking and gardening in the Northwest rain. The rainy season only just started, so I can't speak to the durability of the waterproofing yet. But as you'd expect when brand new, it kept me dry and comfortable on a wet walk the other day. The stretch in the fabric will be helpful when I'm wearing it in the garden. The pocket configuration is really well thought out - the arm pocket is perfect for lip balm. The rest of my waterproof ensemble includes Go Lite softshell Paradox pants, and a nice wide-brim Tilley hat to keep off the rain. On the feet are boots in the garden, and waterproof Brooks Adrenalines on the rainy walks. I think all that stuff is available here :)

I loved the look and the green color of the frames. (When on, the green turns to more of a gray. Still, it was a nice change from brown and black frames.) These just weren't as comfortable as the Edens for me. The optical quality is amazing. I never had expensive glasses before, and these blew my mind. All the Kaenons fit differently -- so try several pair until you find the ones that are just right!

I think the previous reviewer is referring to the capri version of these pants in Coral. This is the long version, which I was really excited to get because I love the capris and the Bliss Shorts too. I like them except the slit on the sides is HUGE. It starts where the capri slit starts. So they're not exactly truly long pants. As I expected, when it suddenly started to blow and rain one day when I was wearing them, my ankles got pretty cold and wet. I think I may ask my tailor to alter it so that there is just a small slit near the ankle.

If you liked the Lizzie skirt from Horny Toad, this is the same thing in Flexcel. It's lovely, flattering, and comfortable. I can wear it to give massage, and that's saying something. The cabernet color is really gorgeous in person.

I'm also in the Pacific Northwest and got the pants to walk and garden in the rain. I wanted rain pants that didn't pull on over other pants, but naturally I didn't want ski pants. These fit the bill. They stretch and are comfortable, and although they still make noise, are less noisy than hardshell. I agree with the previous reviewer that there should be some other type of pocket rather than the one in the back (not useful for women) but I can deal.

I live in these too as other reviewers have noted. I have four pair now and am thinking about a fifth color. They dry in about two seconds and I haven't gotten a stain yet. They are sooooo stretchy and comfortable. I also love the Bliss shorts and the new Bliss pant is ok with a caveat (see my review on that).

I didn't care for this skirt so much. I got one that matched my Water Girl bikini for a beach cover. It seemed too long; it hung to knee level. It seemed a bit too... demure. I chose another Water Girl skirt that was shorter and that was much better. I got the impression this skirt would be valuable for girls on a swim team, where you might be sitting in it, and wouldn't want it too short (There's a one-piece that matches it too). Maybe my problem was that I saw it as part of the swimsuit ensemble, but it IS the exact same fabric and pattern. Personally I can't imagine wearing it as streetwear (and I love performance fabrics!)

It's like if you took velour sweatpants, and made them into a skirt! So comfortable, and casual enough to clean house in. Although I don't deny the alteration described below would be cute, I like this skirt fine the length it is. I would note that the skirt runs large -- I wear large or medium in Horny Toad pants, but wear a small in these skirts, because I am curvy and my waist runs a smaller size than my hips. In the small, the hem falls higher on me (just above the knee) which does look better. Hem length is always important.

I agree about the sizing -- the "juniors" comment makes sense. I really wanted to like this jacket, and it fit in the shoulders and arm length -- but when I was messing with the hood I noticed how tight the arms were. And something about it just looked strange. Also, the hood might be functional, but it seems they made it "helmet compatible" -- which makes it look very odd when you're wearing it without a helmet. And why would you be wearing a helmet with a LONG jacket? I picked a different shell and will probably get a non-technical long coat for going out evenings instead. I have seen some very good reviews of this jacket, and it probably fits petite women well.

I love this skirt so much I'm buying more colors. The striped pattern is extremely flattering, which surprised me when I put it on. It's great for very hot days because it's very lightweight. The crinkle fabric is very stretchy and soft. I am fine in my true size, Medium. The previous reviewer mentioned it shrinking -- note this garment is supposed to be hand washed and blocked to dry!

Although I HIGHLY recommend the new improved model of this pant, the Horny Toad Vera, this older version is pretty nice -- especially for the discounted price! I got the Vera in all the colors I could, but they don't make it in Charcoal or Thyme... so I was excited to pick up these similar pants in discontinued colors. The issue with these pants is that while the Medium is pretty true, the Large felt more like an Extra Large. In other words, the jump between sizes seemed quite dramatic to me. While the Mediums were tighter than I wanted a sweatpant to fit, the Larges looked liked I'd bought them when I was 50 pounds heavier! Mostly this is due to the fact that they are cut like a paper bag; there is no shape whatsoever at the waist (and I'm curvy). Nonetheless, I kept my Larges and was somewhat sucessful at shrinking them in the dryer. As house pants, they're just fine. By the way, the other reasons I prefer the Vera are: the front kangaroo pockets, the wider waistband, and the updated cut are all more functional, flattering and comfortable. But if you're like me and LIVE in Horny Toad sweats, grab these closeouts before they're gone!

In the last couple months I've bought an entire new wardrobe (I lost 50 pounds!) and probably 80% of it is Horny Toad. Out of all the items I've bought, these Vera sweats (and the Victoria hoodie, which goes great with them) are my absolute favorite items. I bought them in every color. For some reason I kept thinking the inseam would be too short for my long legs, and so I tried many other brands of sweats first -- and was not satisfied with any of them. Finally I tried these, and wondered why I'd waited so long! If you've had the Veronique (an earlier version of this pant), this model is much improved. It's cut much more flatteringly and true to size, for one thing. It also has a nicer waistband and kangaroo pockets which improve both the look and function of the pants. You will not regret buying these pants!

I have two of these so far, and love them. I took the previous reviewer's advice of sizing up, which is good if you want to wear this as a top layer. But it now dawns on me it probably runs small on purpose, since it can be used as a baselayer. So size up or not, depending on how you plan to wear it. The arms are slightly long, as another reviewer noted, but that's because it has thumbholes. I love the Mambo fabric (modal, a modern version of rayon) and you don't find baselayer in that type of fabric very often!

This sweater looks better on than it does in the picture. I bought it on the previous reviewer's statement that it is cut very flatteringly, and that's absolutely true. I did size down as suggested, and it is perfect. Although you could probably wear it with nothing under, I have very sensitive skin and will probably wear it with some kind of baselayer below. I like it so much I purchased a second color!

Beautiful, flattering, well-cut camisole. I can't stand tops that bunch up in my armpits. This one doesn't (and that's not true of all HT tops.) It's made of that wonderful stretchy, silky Mambo fabric (modal, a modern rayon) that I love. Put a Victoria over the top, wear a Val on the bottom, and you're good to go!

This is like a vest version of my favorite hoodie, the Victoria -- it fits slightly differently, though. It's cute worn with nothing under, or as a layer over a tank or tee (over a long-sleeved tee in the fall would be cute too). I wish the armholes were a tiny bit bigger, but maybe I can have a tailor fix that. Grab this in the discontinued colors while you can.

I know cordoury shorts seems like an oxymoron, but this fabric is great. This short has more butt room than the Rita or Yolo short (at least, the new Yolo cut) and I know this is a classic among HT fans. It didn't work so well for me, because HT pants are the one thing I have a little trouble with. Sweats or pants with stretch are fine, but I am curvier than the form they cut their sized pants for. When they fit me in the hips, they are too big in the waist. So I didn't keep these shorts, but I know that tons of people love them, and you should definitely check them out for yourself. As for me, I did find that the Paige skirt in the same fabric works great for me (as do most of the HT skirts!)

I now have this in three colors. I'm very picky about how shirts fit under the arms, particularly tanks. I hate when the armholes are too small! The second you emit one drop of sweat from your armpit, it soaks into the shirt. It's uncomfortable, unsightly, and it gives the clothing pit rot and me a rash. (Are you listening, clothing manufacturers?) Well, this tank is cut perfectly in my opinion. You should note that I am barely an A cup, so I'm not worried about support or "falling out" of the tank. The only "problem" I had is the clear plastic straps (that are meant to help hang the shirt on a hanger) will not stay tucked inside the shirt while wearing. But you don't really need the straps to hang the thing anyway, so I removed them. They pull right off with no damage, so go for it!

I actually like the Rosie much better than the current version (they make a similar shirt now called the Sugar Snap Long Sleeve). The Rosie is cut very flatteringly, and the snaps don't droop at the neckline like the Sugar Snap. The fabric used on the Rosie (Spare Ribs) is more substantial than the "Meringue" fabric on the Sugar Snap, allowing me to go bra-less but not look obscene. Get one of these while you can.

I love all these things Horny Toad makes that are somewhere between a hoody and a shirt. It's a hoody in style, but made of lightweight shirt fabric and more fitted. It would layer fine over a tank or tee, or could be just worn alone as a long-sleeved shirt. The armholes are a tad on the small side -- my pet peeve on shirts! -- but not so small that I returned it (but, that's why I took off one star).

I loved this one so much I bought it in a second color. The neckline, which I didn't notice in the picture, is unique and flattering. It runs true to size. The arms were a tad long, but shrank to the perfect length in the dryer. I should note that I line dry the Flexcel fabric (Horny Toad's name for this material), but toss it in the dryer on low heat for 5 minutes when dry to "fluff up" the clothes. I am not sure yet how Flexcel would hold up in a long trip through the dryer. I'm sure I'll find out the first time I put something through by accident (I bought many items in this fabric!) (It may be it's already shrunk all it would, but I am just paranoid and line dry all my cottons.)

This one is fantastic; I bought it in several colors. Horny Toad calls this a shirt, but it's also a great layer. It runs small and hits high - on your hipbones or slightly above. At first that seemed strange, but I ended up really liking it because your tee or tank shows at the bottom. It looks so cute, my boyfriend even commented he liked the layers! Anyway, definitely order a size up. Perhaps even two sizes up, if you want to throw it in the dryer, or wear it over another long-sleeved shirt. Note that the updated version of this shirt is called the Cassis. I also recommend that item, although the sizing is true on the Cassis. My medium sized Cassis is slightly larger than my large sized Poppy!

I like this one - there is something a tiny bit odd about how the neckline fits me (it stands up a little in back, kind of like a turtleneck). But it's so cozy, I think it's a keeper! I'm looking forward to wearing it when the cold weather comes. Typical of PrAna clothing, it runs long and narrow in both the body and arms. I wear a medium in Horny Toad shirts, but got this one in large.

I wear all other PrAna pants in medium, but I ordered these in large -- since they are sweats, and I wanted a roomy fit. Well, they are ridiculously tight! So if you order these, order at least two sizes up. I am going to have to either return mine, or give them to my Mom, who wears a small! Other than the sizing issue, they seem fine. I recommend you try the Horny Toad Vera pant instead. The Vera is nearly identical to this item, and the sizing is true. Also check the Horny Toad Veronique - same item again, minus the kangaroo pockets (there is a key pocket). The Veronique runs a bit large; you *might* wish to size down (but I kept my larges, because they're so comfy!)
