I travel to Argentina 8 or 9 times a year and am always bring the maximum amount of stuff each time, plus other places. I have a large Pelican suitcase and this. the pelican is for everything "breakable", camera gear and stuff that might pop if crushed. I started using this bag because I have two other Osprey back packs and they also rock. the pelican hard case weights in at almost 30 lbs [always over weight at check in$$$] empty this +8500cu in monster is 9lbs Two things that are really cool- the back compartment is almost a "hardcase" as it is protected by the plastic[?] poles and now that your personal toilet articles are a No no, they can weigh in with first aid etc, l have been putting them in the rear compartment of this bag. this is the finest large duffle made. I have bought and broken more bags in 10 years than I care to say but this thing is reasonable tough and roles great. Not "puncture proof"as the outside is a tough nylon not canvas, hence the weight saving, but the best duffel bag in the market.

Patagonia Traverse Softshell Jacket - Men's

Patagonia Traverse Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 September 15, 2009

this is one of the most versital short jackets I have worn. it is also cheaper than their guide jacket. I'm tempted to call it a windshell but it has more coverage and stretch than ripstop nylon.
