I'm currently riding a 12' Doyle and need a bit more float as I weigh about 280. This board is 11'6" vs. 12' but is thicker. Any thoughts?

I use it to open cans of beer without taking my gloves off. Just slide it under the tab and enjoy cold sudsy deliciousness.
