Personal buy of the year

The North Face Ryn Cord - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 May 24, 2008

Great-looking and great-fitting pants, already my favorites. And at a sale price! My own experience and other reviews suggest that these fit a pretty wide range of body types. FYI, I'm taller at 5'9" and prefer pants that err on the side of too-long because you can always hem to the perfect length; if they're too short with not enough extra material, you don't have any options. I've ended up getting rid of several pairs of pants that gradually shrank shorter over the years, and didn't have enough hem for lengthening. Another plus: the fine cord is light enough even for moderate summer. Did I mention that they look and feel great? Just worried that North Face won't make them again.

Fun versatile top (confusing for some at first?)

Contourwear Hoody Wrap Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 November 20, 2007

V. comfortable, & the cowl/hood is great; wore it up as the "Jolly Grim Reaper" for office Halloween party, down for rest of day, got compliments for both. Caveat: fit around armholes is odd, partly b/c fabric is so clingy yet giving. Easy to adjust, though. (Back story: Initially put this on upside down, thought it was poorly cut, & almost returned it. Apparently brain never got the memo re. dressing oneself. In my defense: the hood is bigger than the body and about the same shape. Most normal people can tell it's not the body because the seam is above the sleeves. Again - no memo, etc.)

Really attractive and comfortable - love this T

Mountain Hardwear Mandala T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 May 10, 2007

After buying my first Mandala T, I immediately ordered another in a different color. It's that comfortable, good looking and well cut. I also love that its pattern makes a bra unnecessary (unless, of course, you need real support/are wearing it for running, etc.). I might have to get a third.
