Good reliable jacket.

The North Face Hustle Stripe Triclimate 3-in-1 Jacket - Men's

The North Face Hustle Stripe Triclimate 3-in-1 Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 16, 2009

I bought this jacket on sale and am pretty happy with my purchase. You can't go wrong with The North Face quality and name. With the liner it is pretty warm, I took it out one morning with the thermometer reading 4 degrees and was fine on the slopes. My only complaint is with the liner it is a little small in the arm pit area, but I got used to it.

Great Snowshoe, very happy.

MSR Denali Ascent Snowshoe

MSR Denali Ascent Snowshoe

Rating for this product: 5 January 15, 2009

The first time I went snowshoeing I kinda hated it, but I was using a pair of borrowed Tubbs with the metal tubes. Every hill we climbed I was sliding backwards. Someone recommended these to me, so I got them and gave snowshoeing another shot. The Denali Ascents are great! The one thing I would recommend it maybe going with the 4" floats even if you are over 175. I weight 176 so I got the 8" floats and found them a little cumbersome, so I bought a pair of 4" inch and had no trouble. I am not even sure you need the floats if you are on a heavily used trail or behind other people, but they are nice to have. The heel Lifters are a great feature and worth the extra money.

Finally found a glove that keeps my fingers warm!

Burton Gore-Tex Glove - Men's

Burton Gore-Tex Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 14, 2009

These are Great gloves. With the liners in my fingers are always toasty warm. I will say they run small so get a size up, but other than that, they are perfect! Great for the price in my opinion. I have tried many different gloves in the $50 price range and always got cold fingers eventually, but not with these puppies! My girlfreind has Raynaud's disease so I got her a pair of the Gore-Mitts, and her hands were nice and warm as well, which is very rare!

Burton Shaun White Cargo Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 14, 2009

This is a totally awesome jacket. Like someone else said this is one of my best winter gear purchases. I love the fit and style. Very comfy and has great features. I will say on cold days or night boarding you will want a warm layer underneath, but on an average 30 degree day, it is perfect!

I have a pair of the Custom Brew and the Custom Detox. I had a strap rip on the Custom Brew called Burton and they had me a new strap in less then a week, for free. Totally cool about it. I LOVE the toe straps.

It is a bit stiff, but either it softened up a bit or I got used to it. After just a few rides, it was very comfy.

Great Light Weight Long Sleeve

Pearl Izumi Attack Bike Jersey - Long Sleeve - Men's

Pearl Izumi Attack Bike Jersey - Long Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 April 29, 2008

I bought this hoping for a little more warmth. It is a bit thin, so a vest or jacket maybe needed along with it. Very comfortable good quality. Not sure who is crazy enough to listen to an iPod while riding, but it does have a cool iPod pocket.

Osprey Packs Talon 33 Backpack - 1900-2000cu in

Rating for this product: 4 September 7, 2007

After reading many good reviews on this product (mostly from people who didn't pay for it) I was excited and went out and bought one. I had very high expectations. I bought this product for fast packing, basically short overnight trips. The backpack is very light. It fit all I needed for my overnighter in Kentucky, but I have two complaints. The adjustment to get it to fit well and feel good took me a long time. I was playing with the straps most of my trip. Secondly when I used the hydration pocket and my Camelbak bladder was full it pushed on my back and made a good fit impossible. So overall this is a good light backpack. Doesn't hold much, but overall I am happy with it.
