it floats and is removable.
The lid would float for awhile!

The North Face Dyad 22 Tent 2-Person 3-Season

easy to set up pretty good ventilation, though it seems condensation is sometimes unavoidable depending on the weather. practical for backpackers who want to minimize weight yet sleep in comfort as opposed to a bivy. its also cheaper than other competitively light tents.

sweet backpacking pack for the buck
The North Face Terra 40 Backpack - 2450cu in
August 19, 2007
though its seems kinda small, its all the space you really need if you are down for backpacking and mild climbing. (in CA at least) ive used this pack on like 40 mile hikes and crossing catalina island. i like and so does my back--compared to my friends using golites or jansports. as comfy as arcteryx stuff but not nearly as expensive.
