This pad is actually the INSULATED Air Core, and Big Agnes rates it to + 15F. This pad contains PrimaLoft eco insulation which gets it the extra temperature rating over the regular Air Core pad (+ 35F rating). http://www.bigagnes.com/Products/Detail/Pad/InsulatedAirCore

In my opinion, these booties are quite warm. I'm not familiar with the other booties you mentioned, so I'm afraid I cannot make a comparison. I have walked around in these Western Mountaineering booties in damp snow, and they stayed dry. I wouldn't walk long distances or do so for extended periods of time, but a bathroom break or sit in the snow will be just fine in these. They also have a decent amount of insulation in the sole. At times a wore them with bare feet inside (as it's less slippery) and I did not feel much cold coming through considering I was walking on snow. I'd highly recommend these booties.

If you are comfortably skiing the 173 Havoc you will be fine on the 178 S110. With the early rise tip and tail, this ski definitely skis much shorter. I'm a 5'4" and normally ski 177-180 range, and I skied the 188 S7 (unisex version of this ski) with no trouble. It is really easy to initiate a turn with this design, and the ski almost feels pivot-y. I got Volkl Katana's (also early rise tip and tail) in 183 and love them. Don't be intimidated by length with early rise/rocker/reverse camber skis, and have fun!

According to Marmot's site, this is 650 fill down. We'll double check the specs and get our description corrected if need be. The center back length (measured from the base of the neck to the bottom of the hem) is 26.5" in size Medium. Typically a garment will get about 1" longer in length and sleeve length as you go up in size.

I spoke with Dynafit, and the last on the Titan and ZZeus vary with the size. Size 27.5 has a 102mm last. Size 29.5 has 106.5mm last, so it seems they vary 2.25mm per size. The Black Diamond Factor and Method both have a 102mm last in all sizes, though in my personal opinion they are pretty straight in the forefoot which makes it feel a bit narrow, depending on the shape of your foot.

I spoke with Dynafit about the last on the ZZeus and Titan today. The last varies with the size of the boot. Size 27.5 has a 102 mm last. Size 29.5 has a 106.5mm last, so it looks like they go up 2.25mm with each size.

This will cover your whole stomach (unless you have a really long torso, then maybe not). I would not call the v-neck low by bathing suit standards, but that's very much a matter of personal opinion. Carve Designs has some shots of the suit on models on their website which you may find helpful.

While I wouldn't call these tight, I found them to be more fitted in the thigh, and especially in the hip, than Carve Design's Freestyle and Paddler shorts. I would consider those two instead of this one. The correct size for my waist in these looked terrible in the hip and thigh (though that's often a problem for me in most brands).

The current Chaco Flips do NOT have Vibram soles.
Chaco is now making a Flip Pro with Vibram Pro soles, but they are a separate item http://www.chacousa.com/US/en-US/ViewProduct.mvc.aspx/19787M
The EcoTread sole used on these Chaco Flips looks very similar to a Vibram sole, and is made from 25% recycled rubber, and is non-marking.

My guess is the discrepancy may arise between average fill versus minimum fill. I think (though I'm not positive) that the average fill on this jacket is 750, and all of the feathers are a minimum of 650. (The fill power indicated on the jacket is 750, and that is probably the average fill as that is the more common practice.)

As a side note, this jacket runs very big in my personal opinion. I wear jackets from most brands in a medium, and sometimes a small. This jacket in small is pretty big on me, way bigger than any other small has been on me.

I've been surprised by how warm this fleece is in terms of insulating. However, it is not very wind resistant. If you're walking outside in the breeze, either throw a shell over this or look for something with windproof fleece, or a nylon exterior.

Look for something with "high loft" fleece or Polartec Thermal or Thermal Pro. The Patagonia R2 uses similar fleece, but it is not quite the same soft silky finish.

Frankly, "warm" is a very subjective term. This is definitely nowhere near as warm as a big puffy down jacket. Nor is it as warm as a down sweater, in my personal opinion. That said, it is definitely warmer than an uninsulated shell. I'd say that this jacket is "warm" for it's light weight, but for cold days skiing, for example, it definitely requires layering underneath. I hope this helps.
And yes, it has the same amount of insulation as the men's version. Some will say that men, in general, stay warmer more easily than women in general.

There is. This jacket has tiny zippers. If you zoom in on the photo you can see the zipper for this pocket on the left arm (jacket's left arm, on right side of photo). It is higher than the wrist. I'd say it's more of a lower arm pocket than wrist pocket.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. The vest is close fitting, but there is not tight elastic that stretches around your arms if that's what you're looking for. There is a little bit of stretch to the trim material around the arm hole seams, which you can see if you zoom the picture, but I wouldn't say it would help to keep the wind out necessarily.

Frankly, both of these jackets are very similar. Both are waterproof and breathable and have fully adjustable hoods and pit zips. Neither is lined, and both instead have textured inner surfaces designed to wick moisture and feel softer against your skin. Both are also very similar in weight. I think the only notable difference is that the Patogonia jacket has a tab that allows you to stow the hood rolled up.

You indeed seem to be right between sizes. These pants are not especially fitted, so the medium may work out. To be safe, I'd measure your actual waist and compare to the sizing chart. If your waist is over 29.5", I'd go with the large.

Polyester usually doesn't shrink. I would call this top somewhat fitted, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it's slim. It is meant to be used as either a base or a midlayer, which means it needs to accomodate another layer underneath.

I've upgraded to audio on this helmet, and both Smith and Backcountry make it a little confusing to figure out which kit you need. The Intrigue is compatable with the Universal line of audio accossries (which may be sold out on this site.) The "Bombshell" line of accesorries are for the Holt and Hustle, and the Intrigue requires the Universal which is for the Variant and others. The audio earpads are slightly bigger, though they fit and are compatible. They also are not as fuzzy and close fitting as the earpads that come on the Intrigue. That said, wear a thin headband and you'll be loving having your tunes.

The washing instructions should be on the tag (if not by the neck, farther down the garment). Generally, down should be washed with a gentle cleanser (try the down specific detergent from NikWax) in a front-loading washer. When you dry it, you can put a clean tennis ball or two to help re-fluff it. When I wash my down garments, I also have to shake them pretty vigorously to make them puffy again. Think of the motion of trying to spread a sheet over a bed, but with a hard, quick, snap of the wrist.

You can either contact Cloudveil directly at 877.255.8345 (8-6 MST) and they will take very good care of you, or call Backcountry at 800-409-4502. I had a very good experience with a warantee directly with Cloudveil, sending in a somewhat older jacket and they gave me a gift card for the cost of a new one. If they don't help out, Backcountry offers 100% satisfaction guaranteed, so they would either refund you or get you a new jacket.
