Would suggest you size up, or at least review the size chart carefully - they fit small, and don't have as much give/stretch as other compression gear I own. A Large was way too small, not even sure if an XL would fit - and I'm usually a L in Icebreaker baselayers, XL in 2XU tops and L in Nike Pro compression gear. Fabric looks nice and with quality construction, but can't comment on use as it's too small to move in.

This shovel is great. Easily to assemble and separate, and the "trench/hoe" function (long side of handle slots into shovel head) is great for rapidly moving volumes of softer snow. I'm quite lanky and still find the length when extended is good. Not the largest blade out there, but good compromise between volume and packability, and feels super solid. Have used Voile/BD/G3 and others, prefer this to all others so far.

...and nothing they shouldn't be. Much lighter than XA Pro's, but comparable fit which is nice. Grip is about as good as a rubber soled shoe can provide in snow/ice/etc, and they seemed to shed dry snow well, though I went GTX free as I want to use them in summer too. The heel pocket feels quite "flat/open" at the back, but hasn't seemed to affect security or create movement/friction. They do feel less stable than heavier shoes I own, including XA Pros and Asics Trail Sensors, but they're made for speed so I'm happy with the trade-offs.

This vest is exactly what I was looking for - compact, not too warm but a nice toasty layering piece that would pack to nothing for the skin up, or not get cold if I sweat into it a bit. It washes easily,dries quickly/well and looks to be durably made, despite being lightweight.

I tossed up between L and XL - very glad I went with L, despite being a lanky sort of 6'3/190lb. In a jacket I'd need XL for the arm length, but for the vest the L is a nice fit, not snug but not sloppy either.

These gloves are great - appear to be very well made, and I've seen a lot of older ones still going on the hill so they're likely to last. Warm enough, but not overly hot - when touring I remove the liners and use a lighter glove for the ups, and the Heli-3 still works great as a shell. The idiot-straps are really comfortable, despite being a bit different to normal. Fit is also accurate - I'm usually an XL (DAKINE etc) and the 10 is perfect.

Borrowed a mate's one of these for an ultra trail run, and am now on the hunt for one myself. Very adjustable and comfortable harness, great balance between weight and durability, with a nicely vented back area. Didn't have any rubbing issues despite the distance and warm weather (though clothes choice contributes here). Convenient and accessible hip-belt and other pockets, and bladder is a breeze to remove and refill due to separate sleeve at rear. I'm 6'3/lanky and the M/L was adjustable enough to fit me and my mate who's 5'8. I've used a Macpac Amp Race, DaKine Poacher and others, this one kills them all for running. Would make a great adventure racing and MTB pack as well.

I've previously had Sal's XA Pro 3D Ultra, and LOVED them. Went for a set of S-Lab XT Wings (super red ones) as a bit more of a smooth trail/road cross over shoe. Definitely very light and comfortable fit, but definitely not as durable as the XA Pro - the sole is already wearing thin and down to the softer foam between the lugs. Also, not as much underfoot protection from sharp/odd rocks. But for the weight, they're still a great shoe...hence 4* - they are specifically designed to be light.

These jackets are awesome - shower-proof, downpour resistant (still warm on the inside), chewing gum resistant, style faux pas-proof...list goes on. Sizing is consistent with other brands, I'm 6'3/180lb with long torso/arms and the XL fits nice. Still going strong and as new after 3 years of service, and know a lot of others who I've spruiked it to have had similar experiences. Would make an awesome multi-function backpacking jacket, but is just as happy in technical surrounds. Dig it.

I wear these things incessantly. Very comfortable and loose fit, I've found waist size to be accurate and the long leg size fits me well (34", I'm a lanky 6'3"). Expensive but worth every penny as the attention to detail in construction is without peer - reckon I'll retire before they do.

Still stand by my earlier comments (awesome pants, great fit etc), but would caution about the colours...have managed to inadvertently order another pair of Freestone, thinking the pair I had were Yellowstone. So Freestone is not as grey as it appears - still a nice colour, though and other comments I've read indicate the Granite is more purple than it seems on the screen too.

Guess I've just got a dress pair and a work pair now! :-)
