This Jacket is SWEET

Arc'teryx Alpha LT Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 October 29, 2008

I have never owned a proper rain jacket until the Alpha LT. I thought it was OK to eventually start getting wet when the rain wouldn't let up... but not with this jacket! I was out in the rain for 8+ hours, went through cycles of light mist to heavy down pour, and stayed dry and warm the entire time. The jacket is so light it's rediculous, and it keeps the wind out as well as the rain. The only complaint I would have, if I had to have one, is the external pockets are not in a place you could keep your hands in while standing around. But other than that, absolutely perfect jacket!

Great Jacket

Pearl Izumi Vagabond II Bike Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 May 21, 2008

First cycling jacket I've used, and it's great. Lightweight, cuts the wind, and can stand up to light rain. Sleeves easily come off and stow in the back pocket. I'm 5'8", and the small is plenty long on the torso and is fitted nicely. And the sleeves are even long enough for my gangly arms, which I usually have problems with. I would agree with other reviewers though, the ONE nuisance is the Velcro near your arms when you remove the sleeves. It tends to snag on your shirt if you have long sleeves on. Other than that, it's a great jacket.

Not really for small wrists.......

Oakley D3 Watch

Rating for this product: 3 October 16, 2007

I have pretty small wrists, and when I saw this watch specifically said it was made for small wrists I was excited. But when I tried it on, the watch face was the size of my entire wrist... and I'm not abnormally small or anything. It still is a cool watch, and I really wish that it fit, but it is just too bulky for me.

Great sunglasses!

Smith Toaster Slider Interchangeable Sunglasses - Polarized

Rating for this product: 5 July 31, 2007

I really have enjoyed these sunglasses. The polarized lenses are great, I use them most of the time. Then for mountain biking, I just pop them out and throw the yellow or clear ones in and I'm ready to go. The frame is also very nice and light. They fit snuggly on my face and don't move around. The lenses do tend to shift a bit as someone else noted, but the movement is so small that it doesn't disrupt your vision at all... and it isn't enough that I'm worried about the lenses falling out. Overall, these are really great sunglasses!
