Excellent shoe
Inov 8 Flyroc 310 Trail Running Shoe - Men's
July 31, 2007
This truly is a fast shoe. As others have mentioned, if you need a lot of support, this is probably not the shoe for you. I run on mixed terrain of roots, rocks, gravel and grass and have found this shoe to be excellent on all these types of terrain, wet or dry. There is not as much cushioning and protection as one will find in The North Face's 10X line, but if you're looking for burly, I'm guessing you won't be reading this review anyway. This shoe is a lightweight trainer/racing flat for trails. I'm itching to try Inov-8's 280's to see how those feel. I'm guessing they're great racers, but not such good regular trainers. Anyway, if you're looking to experiment with some lightweight shoes that are good in a wide range of conditions, I highly recommend these.

Outstanding
Marmot DriClime Jacket - Women's
July 3, 2007
As others have said, they take a little bit of getting used to (1/2 hour of running), then they are amazing! They have kept me blister-free in shoes that were blister-prone and have protected my little piggies from uneven and slightly long toe-nails! I have not found them to wear too quickly (though I have WAY too many socks in my rotation) and would say that they are neither "race-day lite" nor "thor-lo thick": they are perfect for every day runs, walking around, biking, and anything that will keep you on your feet for a while (like ultras).

Great Jacket
Marmot DriClime Jacket - Women's
July 3, 2007
I bought this jacket for my wife for all sorts of activities: walking, hiking, trail riding, tee-ball games... and she absolutely loves it. It's in the car for any emergency and kept her warm/dry through this past Spring in New England.
