Second Flight Report, The Freeryde Fly

Spyder Freeryde Fly Suit - Men's

Spyder Freeryde Fly Suit - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 18, 2008

This is my first matching Pants & Jacket from Spyder, have lots of Spyder stuff. I am a perfect Spyder small, 5'8", 140lbs, 30 inch W.
The Fly is more a 2 piece suit than a one piece, it zips together with the powder belt and easy to zip when on. The pants have adjustments on the side and have large belt loops that when the pants and jacket are zipped together your belt is on the inside.
At 15 F or -11 C, wind & snow, I had on under a Spyder T Neck and Spyder Core Sweater and was toasty warm and comfortable. Under the pants just polar fleece long under. With my POC SkullX Helmet the hood does not fit over but has a snap on the back that holds it against your neck and back of helmet, just like a bigger collar, had zero snow flakes on the back of my neck. Works great and it is a nice hood with a nice firm brim, should say I went with the Hurricane/Ivory. The Hurricane is so Dark Blue it is almost Black and the Ivory is white as white can be.
I have counted 12 pockets and think I may find one more or so, somewhere. There are bungee type cords on the side of the jacket at the bottom to pull it in a to your liking.
The two vertical zippers on the Jacket at the top are to expand the neck. I just realized that.
The 893 patch on the left arm is Velcro and comes off and replaced with what you like.
All in all, I am very happy with The Freeryde Fly Suit = great gear at a great price. Can't go wrong.

Hiapo = Foot Heaven

Olukai Hiapo Sandal - Men's

Olukai Hiapo Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 13, 2008

I broke my Tibia Aug 07, a result of cheap flip flops, no feel for what your walking on and snap.
I said no more cheap flip flops, the search started and I found Olukai.
I have 2 pairs of the Hiapo and my feet have been it foot heaven ever since.
Have never had anything so nice fitting. Use the sizing chart, measure your feet in centimeters, will not go wrong.
Also have Lomi, Kekai and Kumu, love them all.
