after 5 years on salomons i definitely (besides buying some parillos two years ago) switched back to my old favorite brand i used to buy snowboards from some 12 years ago. when it comes to an all mountain ski, you go pretty well with these. i mounted a marker griffon 1 centimeter behing the dent and feel quite cosy in the backcountry, park (where you actually dont even notice you got skis on your boots since the are quite light) and even on hard pack/icy groomers. there the has time arrived where you get familiar with the magnetraction thing, even when you dont want your edges cut some ice, they will do. as they are built to do so all the time. the rockered/recurved tip and tail provides you with a nice off-piste feature: you feel like on some 185 ski allthough riding a 173 one. as in my opinion those lib techs tend to be quite hard in the tail and are a bit weak in front (because of the rocker) they are what i was looking for since a while.

after riding it on really cold dasy (had some -5 today) i must admit, that the baggy fit tends to hold to much of cold air inside the jacket. well, war some fur and feel warm.

If compared to an Arcteryx MEDIUM sized jacket and pant, you should not go for the LARGE Norrona one. That's what made me change the both.

Anyways, worn medium like this, the norrona jacket and pants are still sporting a loose fit, just looking awesome.

Baby if you've got to go away...

Great jacket, since beeing 197 centimetors i wondered about getting it XL-sized or better a large one. I've choosen the LARGE which actually fits me pretty well, little baggy in the belly area but just long enough to keep my butt warm. very well fabricated! and it comes with a nice whistle as front zip. havent tried it outdoors yet, but anyways: the better you look, the more you see...
