Patagonia Reversible Puffball Jacket - Infants'
April 17, 2007
Cute jacket, seems nice and warm for my little one due in August. The interior color is a much lighter lemon yellow, not orange as pictured, and is quilted with contrasting blue stitching. Exterior is more slate blue than turquoise, with darker blue trim. Could work for boy or girl; blue side is more boyish, yellow side girlier.

Choking hazard
Mountain Sprouts Sprout Hat - Infant
April 17, 2007
As described except the drawcord is a choking hazard - it is a full loop so that if it got around an infants neck it could choke him. Also, it doesn't mention in the description that the drawcord at the top can be loosened by means of a toggle to turn this hat into a neck gaiter. DON'T PUT A NECK GAITER ON AN INFANT! Again, major choking or smothering/SIDS hazard if this was used as a neck gaiter and covered the baby's mouth. As a neck warmer, this could easily cover a baby's mouth and you might not notice until it is too late. I will cut the cord at the top so it doesn't form a full loop and then knot it tight so you can't loosen the cord and make a neck gaitor; though it seems crazy to have to cut apart a new hat just to make it safe to use.
