Columbia Omni Dry South Peak Tee - Short-Sleeve - Men's
July 23, 2008
I'm in the process of eliminating most of my cotton tee's and switching over to the new synthetic blends. Sugoi,Columbia and North Face have all put out great products. The look and feel and most inportant the versatality of these fabrics make them the best choice for active people. Wear them out on the town or out on your Mt Bike and enjoy the light weight and breathability these fabric blends offer.

Pearl Izumi Vagabond II Bike Jacket - Men's
April 26, 2008
After a few days of shopping for a moderately priced wind shell, I settled on the Izumi Vagabond, and I'm pleased with my choice. Great breathability, nice fit, right amount of pockets and a well designed sleeve removal system. I like the meshed upper back when it's used has a vest, provides a great way to wick the moisture away and also helps with air circulation and venting when used as a jacket. The sleeve pocket being on the inside isn't that big of a problem, most of the time I wear a CamelBak and that's where I would stash them. I know that function is more important then looks, but it really is a nice looking jacket. I'm holding back one star until it passes the durability test and seeing as I live in Western Washington State this jacket will get tons of use.

Native Eyewear Silencer Sunglasses - Polarized
April 17, 2007
After losing my last pair of Silencers, I did not hesitate to buy another pair.I'm an avid Skier and Mt. Biker and have used many different styles and brands of eye wear and these by far are the best I've used. The lenses are easy to change and stay in place and the quality is top notch. The rubber grips on the nose and ears keep the glasses tight to your face even when you are sweating, the venting also keeps the lens from fogging. My only complaint is that when you are using the polarized lens set, LED readouts such as a Heart Rate Monitors or a Bike Computers are distorted and hard to read, a minor annoyance however. Also, the Native customer service is polite and responds quickly to any problem you may encounter. I lost one of the rubber ear pieces and a replacement was mailed to me free of charge within two days.
