Alpina BC 2050 Backcountry Boot

Ok first off the inital out of the box fit was so so, until I adjusted the ankle strap, then the fit like a well broken in running shoe. I changed the laces and added a bit of closed cell foam under the laces (as well as swaped the stock laces for thicker boot laces) and now they are very comfortable. Keeping in mind that they are not tele boots the provide great support, as it says above fits NNN bindings, I will post again once the snow starts to fall and I get to give them a trial run

Good Insole, but

Montrail Enduro Insoles - Men's

I found the instructions a bit lacking, As you can see they only come in whole sizes, and to fit in a half size boot you will need the next size up, since they shrink a little length wise in the . When you go to form them, unless you are using them in ski boots that have already packed out to mold them with the socks you are going to wear with the boot, they tend to get pretty thick once they shrink length wise, and now my foot is jammed against the laces, other than that comfortable (with the right sock) insole
