Montrail Namche - comfy support

Montrail Namche Hiking Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 June 16, 2008

I got the Montrail Namche for hiking/scrambling in the southern Utah desert. The shoe is well-ventilated, perfect for a hot desert environment. It's also very supportive, but comfortable like a running shoe. It runs 1/2 size small, so order 1/2 size larger than normal. It's also a bit narrow, which I LOVE since I have narrow feet. A good hiker for warm, dry conditions that offers all-day comfort.

Salomon Mynx Twin-tip ski

Salomon Mynx Alpine Ski - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 January 26, 2008

I recently bought the Salomon Mynx skis and I love them. I can take them anywhere on the mountain and they are playful and fun. It takes getting used to carving turns on them if you are new to twintips, but after a few runs the skis feel like an extension of me. They like groomers, they love powder and crud, and they are at home playing in the park. Now I am looking for jumps anywhere, and I feel like a kid again!
