Great bc boot!

Salomon X-ADV 6 Backcountry Boot

Salomon X-ADV 6 Backcountry Boot

Rating for this product: 5 April 6, 2009

warm, supportive, deep (wicked) tread. Love the quicklace as I had the older model (yellow/black) and had trouble getting the old type laces tight. Quick and easy to put on.

Perfect winter jacket

The North Face Redpoint Optimus Insulated Jacket - Men's

The North Face Redpoint Optimus Insulated Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 April 2, 2009

Chose this over the similar Mountain Hardware (a brand I normally choose), mostly cuz I liked the hood better, closer fit, not pointy like MH's. Fleecy wind/zipper protector comes up over chin and mouth. Worn in the White Mts. of N.H. at night this winter with just a poly tshirt and was comfy. Ltweight, stuffs small, very cozy and indispensible.

Great system

Salomon X-Adventure Raid Boot

Salomon X-Adventure Raid Boot

Rating for this product: 5 March 25, 2003

My boyfriend and I got this boot/ski system, because we love skiing downhill on light bc skis but ours lacked the control we needed when conditions got a little dicey. The skis are parabolic with full metal edges like a downhill ski but light with bc bindings. The boots are wicked comfy. The laces cinch up tight with this cool locking system. The binding comes already mounted on the ski, and it all works great. Waxless steps make skiing uphill eaaasy and the hourglass shape and metal edges make turning a breeze. A hook on the front of the binding is provided for a leash. We love them. And they are bright yellow. Everyone looks at the wonder of my beautiful skis and boots!!
