Long time New England skier; New to riding in Idaho and out West; trapped in flat Indiana for one more semester!
Bio:

I love the outdoors and grew up in northern Vermont. My father is a long-time woodchuck and mountain man and has taught me a lot. I'm learning how to snowboard but really like to hike, swim, tennis, soccer, ski, climb...well just about anything.

I love this site and it has a lot of great gear but I am a college student so my ratings are pretty conservative (if I hand out $60 for gloves they better make my world turn) so you might want to keep that in mind if you are looking at my reviews. Plus...I have a bit of a chip on my shoulder towards The North Face because I think there is much better gear out there at a much better value (66 North, Spyder, Marmont); I guess everyone wearing it and not even know what a "north face" means doesn't help either.

Pretty good shirt - BC Merino Crew

As mentioned, the shirt is a little thin and for the price I'd expect something more.
It isn't the softest Merino; in fact, I'd say its pushing rough, but still comfortable with nothing under.
Fit is pretty short for me, I'm 5"8', 120, and wear bottoms low so I run into this a lot... but still.
The Aqua is a nice color but wish there were more options.
Basically: if I could go back, I wouldn't buy it but...now that I have it, its not worth returning and is worn often.

Wonderful

The North Face Geographica Jacket - Women's

I love this jacket! I am 5'8" and thin making good fits hard to come by, yet it still fits pretty well (I have a small). Could be longer in the torso but oh-well. Has 8 pockets all together, pleasant surprise. I get compliments on it all the time. Fights wind well, I wear it on days ranging from 25-40 F.
