Excellent!

The North Face Redpoint Optimus Jacket - Men's

The North Face Redpoint Optimus Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 7, 2005

I should have had one of these a long time ago! This has got to be one of the best multi-purpose jackets on the market. From walking the dog to the fell tops of England, I have not had it of my back. Climate control inside the jacket can be pinpoint with chosen baselayers. The extra HyVent on the hood shoulders keeps the rain on the floor and not inside. Superb!!!

The North Face Backpack Rain Cover

The North Face Backpack Rain Cover

Rating for this product: 5 April 26, 2003

This is a must for the wet season. Here in the UK that can span from November through April. Not all backpacks are waterproof. In fact none of them are if you’re out in it all day. The TNF rain cover just adds a little more protection from the outside to help keep the inside dry.

This is a great little hydration lumbar pack, it’s ideal for small runs, walks or walking the dog. Very low weight and comes with its own bottle. Excellent piece of kit from The North Face.

The North Face Stake Set 10

The North Face Stake Set 10

Rating for this product: 5 April 26, 2003

I’ve just got back from Siberia looking at Amur Tigers. As you can guess it was cold and a lot of snow. These tent stakes will work in any habitat or terrain. They were ideal in the snow covered tundra of the Russian far east and I’ve used them at home in the wet muddy English Lake District. These are far more advanced than other stakes because of their shape and alloy. A must!!
